Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik has wide appeal for its easy access to Dubrovnik city centre, great facilities and extensive pooled resources with four neighbouring Valamar Resorts. It’s surrounded by forest and gardens, so you’ll never feel overlooked, and helpful, attentive staff mean you certainly aren’t neglected either.
The resort is situated around 250 metres from the Blue Flag Val President Relax Beach, and is also close to Copacabana beach, which has a great shallow bay for children and tentative paddlers. A resort ‘village’ features shops, a minimart, busy bars and restaurants. You can even take a 160-metre stroll to Valamar Tirena Hotel, where you can hire bicycles on which to explore the area. Dubrovnik Airport is 15 miles south-east.
Neutral accommodation is decked out in pale grey and mocha tones and overlooks lush landscapes or the sea. It’s home to a playground, a soft play area, a creative play area, family and game lounge, a theatre, outdoor trampoline, ‘adrenaline zone,’ and a supervised club for guests aged 3 to 12. Professional childcare is also available for younger guests (charges apply).
Dining information
Mediterraneo Restaurant serves a varied buffet breakfast and dinner, with show cooking and theme nights in the summer months. Beside the outdoor pool, Mezzino snack bar is on hand with snacks, light lunches and refreshing drinks. You can enjoy an a la carte lunch at Momenti, too. Vero Bar has a broad selection of drinks and cocktails, as well as sandwiches, which can be enjoyed indoors or on the terrace. For an extra special experience, Nocturno Wine & Cocktails bar serves a choice of drinks (open on request).
If you’re staying in V Level accommodation, you’ll also have exclusive access to Momenti restaurant for breakfast and dinner (open for all guests at lunch), where you can enjoy a premium a la carte menu and extensive wine list on a terrace overlooking Elafiti Islands.
