The iconic Fairmont Copley Plaza is still considered the créme de la créme of Boston’s luxury hotels. Opened in 1912, it’s listed as one of the Historic Hotels of America®. Situated within the historic Back Bay neighbourhood, the hotel is ideally located for exploring the Freedom Trail, shopping on Newbury Street and wandering besides the Charles River Esplanade. The hotel is close to the Boston Public Library, Beacon Hill, and a two-minute walk from Copley subway – hop on for 10 minutes and jump off at Kenmore for the Red Sox baseball stadium, Fenway Park. For Harvard University, the subway is half an hour away. The hotel is a 25-minute subway ride from Boston Logan International Airport.
