Overview

Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa offers a laid back mood, a warm welcome and plenty of activities to enjoy, with three private beaches and two unique underground caves to explore. This is Bermuda’s only hotel offering an all-inclusive package, providing excellent value for money.

Set in 21 acres of landscaped gardens on Baileys Bay, It is just across the causeway from Bermuda International Airport, around a mile away, so we recommend picking up a local taxi because you'll be there before you know it. Two of Bermuda’s finest golf courses are between one and two and a half miles away. Or take full advantage of the island-wide bus and ferry service, as this island is only 22 miles long and two miles across at its widest part.

Guest rooms are basic, but they are spacious and comfortable. They feature custom designed palm prints in ocean inspired colours. Both the Ocean View and Ocean Front guest rooms have patios or balconies respectively. Internet access is also available.

True to its name, the Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa has two unique underground caves, with crystal clear water you can swim in, surrounded by stalactites and stalagmites.

There are three beaches to choose from. You can sail, snorkel, windsurf, dive or go on a boat cruise. Alternatively you can lie back on your sun lounger, with a good book, or take a refreshing dip in the freshwater pool.

Other distractions to tempt you away from the beach include four tennis courts, two of which are floodlit, an exercise room, family games and activities and two golf courses just five minutes away.

Dining information

Select a restaurant to suit your mood. Hibiscus Restaurant is a formal dining room open for breakfast and dinner year-round, and serves European cuisine with a Bermudian twist. Palm Court, decked out in sisal, mahogany and terracotta, provides a relaxed ambiance, with an island inspired menu, offering light fare and dinner, alongside an exotic list of cocktails. While the Bayside Grill, situated along the beach, is open for a la carte lunch and dinner (seasonal), as well as two theme buffets a week. Enjoy BBQ and seafood meals to the sights and sounds of live entertainment.
