The family-friendly Nonsuch Bay Resort is set along a secluded bay on the south east coast of Antigua. The resort’s rich tropical landscape is enhanced by green rolling hills, a white sandy beachfront, a colourful barrier reef and several small, uninhabited islands. You can stay in a choice of spacious self-catering suites with access to a beautiful beach, three infinity pools, an on-site restaurant and a supervised kids’ club. Spa treatments and a range of water sports are also on offer, including snorkelling and sailing.
Nonsuch Bay Resort sprawls across 40 acres of landscaped grounds that overlook the Caribbean Sea. You can access the beach directly and take a short boat trip across to Green Island, where you’ll discover five more white sand beaches. The calm waters of the protected bay are ideal for non-motorised water sports, and you can snorkel around the crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. V.C. Bird International Airport is around 18 miles from the property.
The spacious accommodation is decorated in a contemporary style, with dark wood floors, high wooden ceilings and French-style windows which open onto private terraces or verandas. All suites include a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. You can choose from a range of airy bay view suites with either one, two or three bedrooms − all of which are situated on the hillside − or book a luxurious two-bedroom Premium Beach Cottage overlooking the beachfront and Nonsuch Bay.

The resort provides access to over two square miles of enclosed waters, which are perfect for swimming, sailing, kayaking and wind surfing. Adults and children over the age of 8 can enjoy water sports tuition with expert guides, and the whole family can hop on a boat to Green Island nearby (extra charges apply) to enjoy a picnic or snorkel around the dazzling coral reefs.
If you want to relax, head to the three fabulous infinity pools – or the white sand beach that’s lined with sun loungers and shady palm trees. Although there’s no on-site spa, you can book a range of in-room massages, facials or body scrubs, as well as various beauty treatments, for an additional charge.
At the kids’ club, children can enjoy a range of supervised activities in morning or afternoon. Babysitting service is also available for a supplementary charge, and older children can participate in the sailing and water sports programmes.
Rokuni Restaurant is an Asian-inspired, independently owned restaurant, located at Nonsuch Bay Resort. It serves lunch and dinner, and you’ll need to make a reservation with the restaurant to enjoy a meal (opening days may vary and the restaurant operates on a pay-as-you-go basis). In the evening, wind down with a cocktail at The Clubhouse Bar.
In winter, men should wear long trousers and collared shirts in the restaurant and bar during the evening.
In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) the bar is closed until further notice. Please note reservations are required for all meals. The kids’ club, spa treatments, water sports, sailing activities and concierge remains unavailable until further notice. You will be required to wear a face mask in all indoor public areas.
