Donating Avios to charity

You can link any one Crowdfunder account to one British Airways Executive Club account. Accounts must be for the same person.

You can link your accounts by following the link from the Crowdfunder website.

You can link one Crowdfunder account to one British Airways Executive Club account and the accounts must belong to the same customer.

You will receive a confirmation notification and email after you have linked your accounts. You can also check your linked status on the Crowdfunder website.

Once you’ve linked your accounts, you can donate Avios by following the link from the BA Community Fund.

Avios can be donated to projects supported by the British Airways Community Fund only, which can be accessed here.

Avios are donated in increments of 125 Avios.

You can donate up to a maximum of 30,000 Avios per calendar month.

You will be required to provide information associated with your British Airways Executive Club account. If the required information is missing from your account, you can update these manually by logging in to your account and going to Manage My Account.

You will see Avios debited from your British Airways Executive Club account immediately. Caps will apply on the day the donation is submitted.

Yes, each individual Executive Club Member at least 18 years of age can link to a Crowdfunder account.

No, any member of at least 18 years of age is eligible to link their British Airways Executive Club account to a Crowdfunder account.

You can contact Crowdfunder at the Crowdfunder website or British Airways at ba.com.

The last four digits of the account you’ve linked to will feature in the Crowdfunder email you received when you linked. Your British Airways Executive Club number will also be displayed when logged in on the Crowdfunder account.

If it’s your Avios that have been donated without your permission, please contact the Executive Club.

Match funding applies to Avios donations only. Avios donation matching is in addition to the funding already pledged by British Airways through the Community Fund. Pledges will be matched pound for pound between 14 November 2022 and 31 March 2023 or until the total match funding amount of £200,000 is reached. Donations can be made in increments of 125 Avios, minimum donation 125 Avios, maximum donation 30,000 Avios per British Airways Executive Club (BAEC) Members per calendar month. Donation must be made by a BAEC Member, aged 18+ with a Crowdfunder account. Full donation terms and conditions can be found below.

1. To be eligible, Customers must be at least 18 years old and be a member of the British Airways Executive Club (“BAEC”) and be a Crowdfunder account holder (“Eligible Customers” or in the singular, an “Eligible Customer”). Eligible Customers must link their BAEC account to a Crowdfunder account in order to donate their Avios to causes selected by the British Airways Community Fund.
2. To link a BAEC account to a Crowdfunder account, Eligible Customers must visit the Crowdfunder website and select “Link your account”.
3. Only one Crowdfunder account can be linked to one BAEC account at any given time and must belong to the same Eligible Customer.
4. To donate Avios on the Crowdfunder website, Eligible Customers must visit the British Airways Community Fund Crowdfunder website and have a Crowdfunder account and BAEC account linked. Account linking and donations made using Avios will require validation using multi-factor authentication credentials set up within your BAEC account.
5. A minimum of 125 Avios are required to donate on the Crowdfunder website. Avios can only be donated on the Crowdfunder website in increments of 125 Avios.
6. Avios will be debited immediately from the Eligible Customers’ BAEC account when Avios are donated.
7. Once donated, Avios are non-refundable and non-transferable.
8. An Eligible Customer may donate a maximum of 30,000 Avios per calendar month.
9. British Airways PLC reserves the right to close any BAEC account that British Airways PLC, Avios Group (AGL) Limited or Crowdfunder believes has redeemed Avios in breach of these Terms and Conditions or in breach of the BAEC Terms and Conditions.
10. Once Avios are donated on the Crowdfunder website, Crowdfunder terms and conditions apply.
11. Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Crowdfunder reserve the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
12. Any personal information you supply will be used by British Airways PLC in accordance with its Privacy Policy, by Crowdfunder in accordance with its Privacy Policy and by Avios Group (AGL) Limited in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
13. When linking your accounts your personal data will be shared between British Airways PLC, Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Crowdfunder to facilitate the donation of Avios, and for marketing and analytical purposes.
