Besides the shops, dazzling lights and nightly shows, the Bellagio is modelled on an Italian village on the shore of Lake Como. Plus, it lays claim to the first ever nightlife experience in Vegas and it featured in iconic film Ocean’s Eleven. Other Downtown Las Vegas favourites include the pool deck at the Downtown Grand, the intimate Downtown Cocktail Room, the beer garden patio at Park on Fremont, and the Prohibition-era feel of Commonwealth. Back closer to the Strip, Southern hospitality and cuisine await at The Orleans.

19.00: All at steak

Make your reservation at Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at SLS Las Vegas. Choose dishes from the raw bar, meat bar and fire pit and relish a taste sensation. Add sides of salad and Delmonico potatoes for good measure. Alternatively, try a tantalising tasting menu and experience the best of one of Las Vegas’s finest restaurants. Head out into the night and you’ll find live music at Backstage Bar & Billiards, Downtown Container Park (which also features open-air shopping and dining), while Ghostbar nightclub atop the Palms offers sleek sophistication – or check out TAO nightclub at the Venetian Hotel.
