Exclusive to London Heathrow Terminal 5, The First Wing has just opened offering a dedicated premium space with an enhanced, private check-in area, two exclusive security lanes and a direct walkway to the lounges.
Over the next two years we're transforming your journey at New York JFK Terminal 7.
An entirely new experience awaits you from the moment you check in, as you go through security, relax in the lounges and when you board your plane.
Offering more space than before and direct access to the gate, you can enjoy views over the city's skyline in our contemporary new lounge. Sip a drink at the U-shaped bar, savour a delicious dinner in the stylish restaurant or, if you really have to, finish that presentation for work in the quiet study area.
More improvements will be coming up to our lounges around the world, including Aberdeen, Rome, Geneva, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Manchester and Chicago. We're also revamping all lounges at London Heathrow Terminal 5, starting this month with the Concorde Room.
A few examples of how we simplify and speed up your journey through the airport are:
More to follow soon including a streamlined flight connections area at Heathrow Terminal 5.
We’re completely transforming your experience in Club World, our long haul business cabin.
We're introducing more choice and better quality food and drinks in the lounges in June. A new restaurant-style dining service on board will start in September, featuring beautiful new table settings and display trolleys for you to select freshly prepared dishes.
From July you can enjoy a more comfortable sleep in the sky and relax on your fully flat bed with new linen, a bigger pillow, soft mattress topper and plump duvet.
All these changes will be introduced on flights between London and New York (JFK) before they're rolled out to the rest of our long haul network during 2018. And last but not least, you can look forward to a new Club World seat with direct aisle access in 2019.
You can now travel in business on flights within the UK and take advantage of the full benefits it offers, such as more checked bags or, as an Executive Club Member, more Avios and Tier Points.
This means you can now have a consistent business class experience when connecting across our network.
Starting early summer with selected long haul Boeing 747s, we will fit our planes with the latest generation Wi-Fi. You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet or laptop to send and receive messages, listen to music online, stream videos, post pictures and a lot more.
There will be more news, updates and details to share with you over the coming weeks. In the meantime, here's a video from our 5 April launch event.
