If you’re catching a connecting flight from another London airport, please allow yourself plenty of time to travel there from London Gatwick. If your bags are labelled for your next destination and you’ve been given a boarding pass for your next flight, you won't need to collect your bags before you leave the airport. However, if your bags are labelled with ‘LHR’, ‘LCY’ or ‘LON’ when you check them in, you’ll need to pick them up at baggage claim before continuing your journey.
Gatwick Airport links passengers to 120 train stations directly and over 700 within just one change. Gatwick's train station is conveniently located at the South Terminal, and can be reached by a free shuttle from the North Terminal.
The Gatwick Express takes you to London Victoria in 30 minutes, departing every half an hour. Southern travels to London and the south east, Thameslink connects via London Bridge and St Pancras International to Brighton or Bedford and Great Western Railway runs to Reading.
