Changes to collecting Avios with Shell Drivers‘ Club

You can continue to convert Shell Drivers’ Club points to Avios until 30 June 2019.

Your membership with the British Airways Executive Club remains unaffected by this change. All Avios converted from your Shell Drivers‘ Club account will remain in your British Airways Executive Club account and will remain valid for at least 36 months.

However, any British Airways Executive Club account that is left dormant for over 36 months will expire and any remaining Avios deducted. For more details, please see the Executive Club Terms and Conditions.

Please contact British Airways Executive Club to raise a missing Avios query by 30 December 2019. This can be done by completing a missing Avios claim form online or by telephoning our customer services team on 0344 493 0747. Calls are charged at the local rate.

British Airways Executive Club will investigate any missing Avios query, and make any outstanding Avios awards where required. The final deadline for any missing Avios claims is 30 December 2019, after which no further claims will be accepted.

You can continue to collect Avios on your fuel purchases at Tesco, at any of their 500+ petrol stations across the UK.

For every £2 you spend on petrol with Tesco, you will receive 1 Tesco Clubcard point (as well as those that you can earn on your Tesco groceries) which can then be converted into Avios points, at a rate of 600 Avios for every £2.50 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers.

The great news is that the Avios you will earn, for the same amount spent on refuelling at Tesco, will be twice as much compared to Shell Drivers’ Club*, helping you get to your dream destination faster.
