If you need to get to a connecting flight at another London airport, we advise allowing plenty of time, as the airports are some distance apart. If your bags have been labelled through to your onward flight destination, and you have been given a boarding pass for your next flight, you do not need to pick up your bags again. If your baggage receipt shows the destination ‘LHR’, ‘LGW’ or ‘LON’, you will need to collect your baggage at Arrivals/Baggage Reclaim before checking in for your next flight.
