Is it easy to get around Kos?
Kos Island International Airport (KGS) is located 22km south-west of Kos Town. Grab a taxi from the front of the terminal or hop on a public bus, which runs at regular intervals throughout the day and takes around 40 minutes. If you’re staying in Kardamena or Kefalos, we’d recommend pre-booking a transfer before you go to save money and avoid the queues. Alternatively, KTEL buses can take you to the island’s popular resorts from outside the Kos Airport gate. If you want to explore the island on your own time, simply hire a car with British Airways and collect Avios on every rental.
