Overview

Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort is the first luxury resort to occupy the man-made World Islands archipelago. It enjoys a secluded setting backed by the beachfront and Dubai skyline. The attractive accommodation boasts direct beach access and private pool options.

Located in the South American continent of World Island, the resort is sat on the south-westernmost corner, allowing for unobstructed views to the mainland. It’s accessible by a boat from sister resort, Anantara The Palm Jumeirah – a journey which takes around 35 minutes. From Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina is 10 miles away, Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall are 22 miles away, and Dubai International Airport is 26 miles away.

Sophisticated accommodation is set in thatched buildings. Suites and villas feature an island-inspired colour scheme of blue and sand, vaulted ceilings and contemporary furniture. Owing to its island setting, the resort is surrounded by 360-degrees of sandy beach, and there’s a large palm-dotted main pool if you fancy a change of scenery. The sumptuous spa, located beside the beach, is where you’ll find a selection of indulgent treatments. There’s a fitness centre, too.

Additional activities include beach volleyball, jet skiing, banana boating, paddle boarding and yoga. Plus, a kids’ club provides plenty of activities to keep little ones entertained.

Dining information

Helios restaurant provides an outdoor terrace with Dubai skyline views, as well as a tempting all-day dining menu. Arabic-influenced décor and flavours are showcased at Qamar, where indulgent rice, grilled and tandoori dishes feature on the menu. For something extra special, the resort’s floating lounge is an unforgettable place to enjoy breakfast or lunch on the sea (reservations required).
