Overview

Taj Palace New Delhi is home to four award-winning restaurants, acres of greenery hosting an outdoor pool and a spa offering Indian-inspired treatments.

Set within six acres of lush gardens, this hotel is in New Delhi’s Diplomatic Enclave, also known as Chanakyapuri. From here, the gold domed Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most notable Sikh places of worship, is four and a half miles away in the centre of New Delhi. You’ll need to cover your head with a scarf to enter, but should you forget to bring one, you can usually borrow one during your visit. The National Ghandi Museum and library is just over seven miles away and the UNESCO listed Red Fort, once home to India’s Mughal emperors in the mid-1800s, is just under ten miles to the north-east. Indira Gandhi International Airport is four miles away.

Within the V-shaped building, warmly decorated rooms feature floral or damask pattern fabric and carpets, with magnolia walls. Taj Club Premium Rooms are larger and located in a corner location, while Taj Club Suites offer even more space, as well as a separate seating area and more modern decor, with rich tones of chocolate. Both offer access to the Taj Club Lounge and around-the-clock butler service.
