Take in the sights of spectacular Stanley Park – an urban escape with beaches, trails and gardens. Walk or cycle the seawall that runs the perimeter. Whilst you’re there, stop by Vancouver Aquarium, which is home to 9000 water-loving inhabitants. Enjoy a treetop adventure at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and embark on exhilarating rainforest and cliff walks. Or ride North America’s largest aerial tramway to the top of Grouse Mountain for unbelievable views.



Dine out in the heart of downtown Vancouver on Robson Street. Boasting a great range of eateries that vary in budget and cuisine – admire the colourful street performers and people watch as you eat. Kitsilano, known locally as ‘Kits’ has a captivating hippy spirit. Its quirky coffee shops and fine dining attract a youthful crowd.



Head to the fashionable hangouts of Vancouver’s original neighbourhood, Gastown. You’ll find trendy tapas restaurants, cocktail lounges and whiskey bars. Granville Street becomes a thriving pedestrianised area in the summer with its range of bars, pubs and trendy clubs. After a long day on the slopes of Whistler, soak up the great atmosphere fireside in a cosy pub or outdoors admiring the mountain views.
