Music and the food you love
A little music can help boost the enjoyment of your meal. Research by Oxford University suggests high-pitched notes bring out the sweetness of a dish, while lower-pitched sounds emphasise bitterness. Try pairing your freshly brewed Union Coffee with some sonorous Plácido Domingo and see what you think.
Taste and learn
Nearly a third of us lose our ability to taste well at altitude. That’s why we put flavour at the heart of all inflight meals. “Our smoked salmon is specially cured with a slightly stronger smoke so the flavour isn’t lost in the air,” explains Andy Rush, our Culinary Development Chef.
Reuse and recycle onboard
We recycle as much as we can onboard. But you can help us as we strive to be better. We’ll happily fill your water bottle up if you take one for the journey. You'll also enjoy a discount on our hot drinks selection if you bring your own cup on a short-haul flight.
While we recycle as much onboard waste as we can, we’d like your help to do more. That’s why we invite you to bring your own re-usable water bottles and cups on board, which we’ll happily fill on request. What’s more, if you bring your own cup on our shorthaul flights, we’ll give you a discount on our hot drinks selection..
