Updated March 2018
There’s lots to see in our new home in the South Terminal at London Gatwick, including our luxurious lounges, a stylish new premium check-in and new self-service bag drop machines.
Lounge around in luxury with earlier opening times
Our Gatwick First lounge will now open at the earlier time of 5:15am, allowing eligible customers to enjoy earlier lounge access and a full hot English Breakfast buffet before their morning flight. With sweeping views of the runway, the spacious First and Club lounges feature improved dining, a bar, complimentary Wi-Fi, showers, washrooms and a kids’ zone. Stylish feature walls separate the area into dedicated spaces to work, relax or dine.
Long-haul flying refreshed
We’re investing in our long-haul 777 fleet, with the introduction of new generation premium economy and economy seats. The refreshed cabins will gradually roll out across our Gatwick fleet and will be complete by summer 2019. The new World Traveller Plus seats have been designed and developed by our in-house design team, in collaboration with a leading seat supplier and have been fitted with up to 50 per cent larger entertainment screens.
The first routes to enjoy the fully refreshed aircraft will be Punta Cana, Cancun and Kingston, Jamaica.
We're proud to let you know that we were more punctual than Ryanair and Easyjet on short haul departures from London Gatwick in 2016.*
New and exciting routes
You can now fly to more of your favourite destinations from London Gatwick, such as Fort Lauderdale, Oakland, Cape Town, Lima, Costa Rica and Limoges. We have also added extra services to Mauritius, giving you more options to escape and explore somewhere new.
A new check-in experience
Come and try our new stylish and discreet premium check-in.
If you’ve already checked in, you can beat the queues by going to one of our new self-service bag drop machines. All you have to do is scan your boarding card, tag your bags and drop them off. That way, you can spend more time doing what you want, like relaxing, having a bite to eat or a spot of duty free shopping.

Big plans...
The improvements at London Gatwick are part of our investment of more than £5 billion worldwide in new aircraft, smarter cabins, elegant lounges and new technologies.
Speed into the airport
We’re now even closer to Gatwick's train station, so if you’d rather the train took the strain, you can get directly into the airport, and save money on parking. With so many trains going to Gatwick, including the Gatwick Express, you can get there quickly and easily.
