Locanda Vivaldi, named after the famous composer who used to own the building, is a small and intimate boutique hotel, with a homely feel. The charming Castello District is behind the hotel, and many more iconic sights are within walking distance. Arrive at the hotel’s private water taxi dock or catch a water taxi from the nearby stops. The ferry from Venice Marco Polo airport to Rialto takes about an hour, and requires 10 to 15 minutes of walking time on either side.
