The island is also well-suited to walking and cycling, with scenic coastal paths and countryside routes leading to hidden bays with small pebble beaches. The neighbouring Elafiti Islands of Lopud and Koločep are easily reached by local ferry or private boat from Sudurad harbour, just 750 metres away, as is Dubrovnik itself. It takes around an hour to arrive at Dubrovnik’s Gruz Harbour, where you can explore the UNESCO listed Old Town, wandering through a maze of historic alleys on your way to the City Walls, Rector’s Palace and the cable car, which will whisk you to see breathtaking vistas of the city and coastline from Mount Srd. Dubrovnik Airport is 25 miles away.

The hotel is housed in a low-rise, stone building that reflects the traditional architecture of the Croatian coast. Just 28 rooms, suites and apartments are set across three floors and arranged to make the most of the waterfront position. Rooms are bright and simply styled, decorated in a neutral palette using soft whites, creams and subtle blue accents, paired with natural wood furnishings.
