Relax on the white sandy beach, overlooking the Turquoise waters of the Persian Gulf. The water conditions are perfect for swimming and water sports, and ample sun loungers lie along the seafront. There are seven temperature-controlled swimming pools dotted around the property, including an indoor spa pool and an infinity pool. Don’t miss the eighth pool a floating sea pool (not temperature-controlled); it’s accessible by a water walkway and surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas. From here you can enjoy panoramic views of the Persian Gulf and order drinks and fresh fruit platters directly to your lounger.

Jouri Rose Spa offers an oasis of tranquillity, providing a ladies-only section and treatment rooms specially designed for men. Here you can unwind in the whirlpool, sauna, steam room or pool, before indulging in a traditional exfoliation, mud mask, body scrub or infused water treatment. Experience an authentic Turkish bath ceremony, starting with a soothing foam massage, followed by an exfoliation, Vichy shower and essential oils treatment. Men can choose a revitalising body repair session or a signature facial.

The resort’s extensive family-friendly facilities include a kids’ club with a climbing wall, an arcade area and a vast outdoor playground. There’s a pirate boat aqua zone with water slides and fountains, in addition to a bouncy castle, inflatable water trampoline, football pitch and inflatable climbing wall. Kids can splash around in two children’s pools or participate in supervised activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, movies and little Zumba.

Adventurous adults will enjoy the unique Tarzan boat, equipped with two high diving boards, water slides and a large rope swing. There is also a Technogym fitness centre and padel tennis court in addition to beach volleyball, table tennis and billiards facilities. The hotel also runs fitness programmes for adults.  

Dining information

Al Marjan is the main buffet-style restaurant, offering all-day dining and a selection of local and international dishes. There are also four a la carte restaurants and a maritime-themed gastro pub, The Anchor, which offers a menu of British classics. Brasserie serves classic European dishes; Meze specialises in authentic Turkish and Lebanese fare, and Vespa is a family-style Italian restaurant. There’s also Sanchaya, a seafront venue that offers modern Asian cuisine. You can dine on its large terrace with uninterrupted views across the Persian Gulf.

There are two pool pars – including a snack bar – as well as a rooftop lounge, lobby bar and nightclub.  

Additional information

There is a smart casual dress code at all dining venues, and swimwear is not permitted during breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Dinner reservations are required one day in advance for all a la carte restaurants. The half board plan covers a buffet breakfast and dinner in the main dining restaurant.
