Set against a stunning backdrop of verdant hills, Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi occupies a secluded cove on Sardinia’s coastline. Located at the end of a snaking, palm-lined driveway, the resort is set amongst manicured gardens and lawns on Sardinia’s south-eastern, marine-protected coast. If you're looking to explore the striking rural coastline, hiring a car is recommended, but you can also survey the coastline on the resort bikes. The city of Cagliari is 29 miles north-east from the resort and Cagliari Elmas Airport is a total of 34 miles away – approximately an hour by car.
The striking whitewashed main building stands out from its lush surroundings and features Moroccan-influenced arched windows, dome-topped towers and latticework. The large and bright lobby area features a formal lounge – and relaxed seating area, where floor cushions sit atop a large round rug, amidst long, hanging tapestries. Accommodation features the same pretty, Moroccan-influenced décor, with cream, white and blue colour schemes, lantern lights, intricate carved artwork behind beds and fabrics sporting similar motifs. Each enjoys views of the surrounding parks or beautiful gardens, and family options feature sliding doors, creating privacy between sleeping areas. Family Suite Garden and Two Bedroom Villa accommodation is located separately from the main building – though still just a short walk away – if you’re looking for a quieter setting.

Two pools – one split-level, overlooking the sea, and the other with child-friendly shallow sections and a water fountain – offer plenty of opportunity to cool off. The private beach is also set in a shallow cove, making it friendly for the whole family, and is lined with neat rows of sun beds and umbrellas.
Aquapura Spa has an indoor relaxation area where day beds are topped with snug mattress-like cushions, leading to a pool, which opens to the outdoors through an arched wall. There are separate adult and family-friendly times too – perfect if you’re looking to relax with the family or seek some quite time. Additional family-friendly facilities are offered in abundance at Falky Land. This children’s haven offers an indoor crafting area, soft play centre, and a large, sandy-floored outdoor playground. The schedule of activities at the Falky Kids’ Club includes gardening, so children can plant their own fruit and vegetable seeds in the resort gardens that are tended to year-round and used by the chef.

Dining information
Artigiani is the resort’s main restaurant, serving eggs made to order and honey on the comb as part of its breakfast spread, and fresh Mediterranean and Sardinian dishes for a buffet dinner. There are plenty of options for young guests, too. During the day, La Bottega del Gelato serves homemade gelatos and Artigiani Pizza fires up a wide selection of delicious fresh pizzas, cooked according to traditional recipes. Fresh seafood is served under shade from the midday sun at Kento, and in the evenings, fine dining is on the menu.
