Ikos Andalusia is a stunning all-inclusive resort that delivers world-class service and luxury experiences. The 21-acre manicured grounds face the Mediterranean Sea and the serene shores of Playa de Guadalmansa. Ikos Andalusia lies on the southern coast of Spain in the picturesque region of Andalucia. The contemporary property provides access to miles of beachfront, stretching all the way towards Marbella, less than 14 miles away. You’ll be well situated to visit the historical town of Estepona, just over seven miles away, which is home to whitewashed buildings and flower-filled squares – not forgetting the botanical Estepona Orchid House. On your ‘Local Drive Adventure’, you can explore the spectacular mountain range of Sierra de Mijas or soak up the cosmopolitan vibrancy in Marbella. Make sure to bring your complimentary tickets for some of Malaga’s top museums (one ticket per guest, per stay) – including the Pablo Picasso Museum – or tee off at the Los Naranjos Golf Club, around 10 miles away. The journey to Malaga Airport is just over 44 miles.

The 411 sophisticated rooms and suites are decorated in neutral colours, with sandstone tiles and light blue soft furnishings. The beautifully landscaped grounds encompass specialised areas for children, families and adults only. There are nine heated indoor and outdoor pools dotted around the resort. One of the stunning outdoor pools lies just steps away from the beach, and there’s an adult-only pool, a children’s splash pool and an indoor spa pool for those over the age of 16. You can also unwind on the beachfront with attentive waiter service and pool childcare (for up to 30 minutes), at no extra cost.

The cooling waters of the Mediterranean Sea invite you to bathe or ride the waves with non-motorised water sports ranging from canoeing to windsurfing (one hour per person, per stay is included). Otherwise, you can take a pedalo out on the water each day or book a private boat tour or yacht rental for a supplementary charge.

Back on land, there are a variety of sports facilities, including badminton and tennis courts, a cardio training room and a fitness studio at the spa. You can explore the surrounding areas on a mountain bike, sign up for a fitness class (including Zumba and beginners’ yoga) or head to the activity pool for an aqua aerobics session.

The family can enjoy the full entertainment and activity programmes, including those at supervised clubs for kids and teenagers. Creative activities, sports and all things fun make up the exceptional line-up – and children can look forward to the mini disco or karaoke in the evenings. The Football Academy (for kids between 18 months and 4 years old) is bookable for an extra charge, and so is the creche, which provides expert childcare for those between ages of four months and three years old.

The Ikos Spa is an oasis of calm with a dedicated relaxation zone and a heated indoor pool and a Jacuzzi. Book a revitalising facial or massage delivered by expert therapists in a private treatment room with products by Anne Semonin. Before your massage, you can warm your muscles in the steam room or sauna, and afterwards, you can complete your pampering session at the beauty salon.

Superior dining is vital to the Ikos Andalusia experience. The resort is home to nine inspirational venues that offer Michelin-star menus or authentic local cuisine. Savour delectable Greek dishes beside the sea at Ouzo or visit the elegant Fresco restaurant to sample fine Italian fare, made with the freshest ingredients. Anaya’s a la carte creations capture the flavours of Asia, while Provence focuses on the gastronomy of south-eastern France. You can also feast on Spanish-inspired dishes at Oliva, overlooking the picturesque pools and gardens – and on a clear day, you can even spot Morocco and Gibraltar in the distance. At Seasons you’ll enjoy the best in local cuisine, with a menu inspired by the freshest ingredients.

For a more laidback dining experience, head to the vibrant Beach Club, where you can order classic international fare and sunset cocktails. Alternatively, relish sumptuous Mediterranean dishes at the buffet style restaurant, Flavors, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving hot and cold dishes. Chiringuito is an exclusive beach venue serving a selection of tapas and espetos, including Malaga’s tradition of grilled fresh fish.

For a taste of local cuisine, try the popular Dine Out programme, which allows you to dine at carefully selected restaurants across Marbella and Estepona as part of the all-inclusive programme.

Additional information

You should pre-book spaces at the kids’ club, teens’ club and creche – as well as spa treatments to avoid disappointment. You must make reservations for dinner and arrive on time to keep your reservation. Please note that you cannot enter the restaurants wearing shorts and flip flops during dinner.
