The hotel has three word-class golf courses, a golf academy that runs expert-led classes, and a professional golf shop. The resort’s original 18-hole golfing green is known as Flamingos, one of the most picturesque golf settings in the Costa del Sol. There’s also the Alferini course – designed by the Spanish architect Antonio Garcia Garrido – and Tramores course, which is ideal for beginners.
The sprawling spa is home to Roman baths encircled by classical marble statues, a sea salt hammam and an indoor plunge pool. You can detox in the Greek and Finnish saunas, before indulging in a signature massage or beautifying facial – or make use of the aromatic thermal circuit with its three aromatherapy baths. For avid golfers, there’s even a signature golfer’s massage, designed to release muscle tension in the shoulders, arms and back. Next to the spa, you’ll find a meandering pool set in lush Mediterranean-style gardens.
During your stay, take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary shuttle services to the beach club or Villa Padierna Racquet Club, which offers facilities to play tennis, croquet and badminton. Back on-site there’s also a Technogym fitness centre and a seasonal kids’ club.

There are eight indoor and outdoor dining venues at the hotel, giving you the chance to try Michelin-starred delights and outstanding local delicacies. La Loggia serves a Mediterranean-inspired buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks, with gluten-free and vegan options available. Here, you can find a table out on the terrace which boasts panoramic views across the lake and distant views towards the Rock of Gibraltar.
Health-conscious visitors can enjoy fresh juices and healthy, seasonal meals at Yumm, located in the racquet club. Alternatively, if you’re on the golf course, Hole 55 has a menu of fresh salads, baguettes, Andalusian appetisers and homemade desserts, as well as an extensive wine list. For a light snack by the poolside, there’s also La Pérgola which serves fresh Mediterranean fare.
In the evening, enjoy creative aperitifs and snacks at Eddy’s Bar, or try one of the exceptional cocktails made by the recognized mixologist, Diego Cabrera. Then head to ‘O’ by Paco Roncero for a Michelin-starred menu, inspired by authentic Andalusian flavours. Otherwise, you can tuck into paella and local caviar at Club de Mar, overlooking the sparkling coast, or enjoy authentic Japanese flavours in a lakeside setting at 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant.
