Overview

Sheraton Cascais Resort is perfect for golfers, families and couples looking to hit the greens, explore Cascais or frequent the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Its low-rise coral buildings stand out amongst the pine-filled gardens, and its spacious, airy apartment-style rooms are filled with natural light. It’s a spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site, 13 miles from the property. You can also take a day trip to Lisbon – its town centre and airport are both 24 miles away.

The apartment-style rooms are modest with ample space, neutral décor and large windows which bathe the rooms with sunlight. A large pool stands within the gardens, one side heated, separated by a meandering walkway. At Serenity Spa there are a range of treatments and a thermal circuit, which includes a sauna, a Turkish bath and a hot tub. There’s also a 24-hour gym boasting panoramic windows to admire the gardens. From May to September the kids’ club, Brave Kids, runs a timetable of workshops, games and tournaments, in a fun wigwam-style play area.

Dining information

There are two restaurants serving local and international dishes with relaxed outdoor seating. Natural light pours into the Glass Terrace through floor-to-ceiling windows, which give way to marvellous views of the surrounding gardens. Dishes here are local and international with certain produce sourced from the chef’s own garden. Yakuza presents Japanese-inspired dishes from sushi to sashimi alongside in a playful yet contemporary environment – don’t miss the live sushi cooking demonstration on Wednesdays. There is also a pool bar serving refreshments by the pool.
