Overview

Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel is an ultra all-inclusive beachfront hotel, located on the Greek island of Kos. This family-friendly hotel features two on-site a la carte restaurants, a creperie-gelateria, five bars, a kids’ club and a great range of land and sea activities, suitable for the whole family.

The hotel is located on the north-east coast of the island, situated on a Blue Flag awarded beach and surrounded by lush gardens. It’s under three miles from the Greek and Roman landmarks of Kos and approximately five miles from the ancient ruins of Asklepion – the most important archaeological site on the island. To the south of the island are the thermal springs known as ‘the thermes’, considered to aid the healing of skin, arthritic and rheumatic disease. The temperature of the water ranges from 30 to 50 degrees Celsius making it unsuitable for children, but the surrounding beach is suitable for all ages. Kos International Airport is approximately 17 miles from the hotel.

The hotel features 338 rooms, located in the main building or in one of the eight bungalow buildings. They are contemporary in style, decorated in warm colours, with marble floors and wooden furniture. The rooms are equipped with a satellite TV, safety deposit box, stocked mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. The en-suite bathroom features a separate bath, hairdryer, bathroom toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. The rooms overlook the pool, sea or gardens – and 16 Family Rooms also contain a private pool.

There are three large outdoor pools as well as a beautiful pebble beach with complimentary towels, sunbeds and umbrellas. Kids have access to the Mini Club, Junior Club and Maxi Club for a wide variety of activities, games, handicrafts, sports and movies. In addition, there’s a kids’ pool with waterslides, an outdoor playground, internet corner and play arcade in the main building. The hotel offers tennis, football, beach volleyball, art lessons, darts, table tennis and billiards. Trekking and bicycle tours can be arranged and for an extra charge you can try water-skiing, paragliding, jet skiing and kite surfing from the water sports centre. Guests also have complimentary access to the facilities and all-inclusive plan at all four Mitsis Hotels in Kardamena.

Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel features two on-site a la carte restaurants, a creperie-gelateria, five bars which are open daily and a local dining service to access some of the best restaurants and taverns in the area.

The main restaurant overlooks the hotel’s mature gardens, serving buffet 'early' breakfast and breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as supper time in a relaxed atmosphere. Here, children have their own food area as well as a separate buffet for lunch and dinner. Theme nights are provided four nights a week with show cooking for custom food preparation. Brunch and dinner are available at the a la carte Italian restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Italian pizza baked in a wood-fired oven or head to the meat a la carte restaurant for a selection of the finest cuts of premium quality meat, signature dishes and exotic salads. Stroll through the fragrant gardens to the charming creperie-gelateria, located on the beachfront or grab a snack at the hot dog cart, popcorn cart and cotton candy cart.

The main bar is located next to the hotel’s swimming pool while the Sunset Lounge Bar is the perfect spot for an aperitif. The Chess Pool Bar is in a peaceful location for a drink or light bite or try the family-friendly Aqua Pool Bar, situated next to the water slides and playground. Located on the beachfront is the Beach Bar and Canteen for a relaxed ambience and casual dining.
