At the hotel, outstanding pool and beachside service is provided. No matter where you choose to unwind, friendly staff will bring iced fruits, facial sprays and refreshing cold flannels to your sunbed. On the beach, you can combine total relaxation with pure enjoyment by embracing the hotel’s complimentary water sports – including water skiing, tube rides, paddle boarding, kayaking and much more. If you would rather stay by the poolside, you have a choice of two large swimming pools: there’s the family pool which has plush daybeds and cabanas or there’s the free-form adult-only pool which offers a scenic, tropical landscape and relaxing whirlpool.

A real highlight of the resort is its focus on wellbeing. Take pleasure in family mediation sessions in quiet spaces or make use of the gym and revitalising fitness classes – including complimentary yoga and Pilates. The adult-only spa complex is a real focal point, especially as the all-inclusive package includes soothing spa treatments (the amount will vary depending on room type and length of stay). For the ultimate pampering, indulge in the Waves signature bespoke ritual or fully relax with a body wrap and cleansing facial. There’s also a sizable sauna and steam room to experience before, or after, your treatment.

Enjoy alternative experiences at the other sister properties on the west coast of Barbados (excluding The House). You can take a complimentary water taxi to the other Elegant Hotels on the island to take advantage of their facilities.    

Dining information

Dining is a delight here, with three main eateries which have seasonal menus. Mediterranean, classic Caribbean and Asian-infused dishes are all available at the resort. The Seascape Restaurant offers open-air, a la carte dining overlooking the beach. Here you’ll find a full breakfast buffet which features tropical fruits, fresh pastries and made to order omelettes. In the evenings, savour Caribbean inspired dishes such as fish curries or Bajan fishcakes. If you enjoy Asian Fusion cuisine, head to the vibrant Shiso restaurant. Relish the flavours and spices of the Far East and try sashimi rolls, sushi, noodles, shrimp curries and rice bowls. This must be followed by their signature five spice Asian ice cream. For a light snack or lunch, there’s Kyma, the hotel’s small coffee shop and deli. This is the perfect spot for fresh sandwiches and salads or to sip espresso-inspired drinks.

As part of the Elegant Hotels offering, you can participate in the 'Taste of Elegance' Dine Around Programme with sister properties, on the platinum west coast (excludes The House) providing access to other restaurants and bars.

Evening entertainment events are hosted with both groups of adults and families in mind, ranging from mixology workshops and live DJ nights, to water sports challenges and family boot camps on the luxurious beachfront.
