On the idyllic white sand beach, you’ll find dedicated family and adult-only areas. The calm waters are good for swimming and snorkelling, and you can take up complimentary, non-motorised water sports − including kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding and snorkelling.

Get active at the nine tennis courts and a fitness centre with Technogym equipment. You can also hire a mountain bike for free or join guided nature walks in the nearby rainforest. There’s a complimentary kids’ club, where children aged two to six can enjoy the paddling pool, sand pit, jungle gym and a range of supervised activities. Plus, there’s a creche for little ones (additional charges apply) and the Cool Kids Club for 7- to 12-year-olds, which operates during the school holidays.

To relax, find a hammock in the tranquil gardens, join a sunset yoga session, lounge around the freeform pool or retreat to the two-storey Cara Organic Beauty Spa. Sink into serenity with a signature massage, book a ESPA facial or be pampered from head to toe in the beauty salon (treatments are bookable for a supplement charge). The spa also houses a sauna and hot tub, so you can unwind before or after your treatment.

Carlisle Bay is also home to a swimwear boutique, a gift shop, a library with fibre-optic lights and a cinema that screens movies every evening.  

Dining information

Carlisle Bay caters for all tastes with a choice of four restaurants and four bars. Set in an open-air dining pavilion, Indigo on the Beach boasts sweeping Caribbean Sea views. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with grilled seafood, home-made breads, pasta dishes and weekly Caribbean beach barbecues. Plus, there’s a separate children’s menu.

Ottimo! is a popular choice for a casual lunch or dinner beside the pool. The Italian-inspired menu includes a selection of wood-fired pizzas, antipasti, fresh salads and ice creams. In the evening, you can also dine at East, which specialises in Japanese, Thai and Indonesian cuisine. Their menu includes freshly caught seafood, meat dishes and vegetarian options, all cooked with tantalising ingredients from Asia. You also have the option to dine on Caribbean fusion dishes at The Jetty Grill (13+), where food is locally sourced.

Coconut Grove is the ideal spot for afternoon tea or cocktailson a secluded stretch of sand behind the main beach. You can also order a range of drinks at the three other bars, including the elegant Pavilion Bar and beachside The Jetty Bar.

We strongly recommend that transfers are booked in this destination. Transfers must be booked as additional items, for which separate vouchers will be required.
