The resort has three outdoor pools – a huge 70-metre pool, next to a children’s pool, surrounded by a vast sun deck, and another located amongst the palm trees. Pool towels are available with a deposit, so you can free up space in your suitcase. Salgados Beach is accessible through a pathway over the sand dunes, providing extra opportunity to unwind under the sun. To take your relaxation one step further, visit the sleek Osmos Wellness Centre where the Water Circuit includes a whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, ice fountain, Turkish bath, cold bucket showers and a relaxation area. Spa options include massages, body treatments and wraps, facials, manicures and pedicures. It’s also home to an indoor pool (swimming caps are required). There’s a fitness centre too, open 24-hours a day, equipped with a treadmill, elliptical machine, spinning bikes and weights.

Adults seeking an escape can join the MarClub, overlooking the beach, with sunset views. It has an outdoor heated pool (pool towels provided), massage area and bar service for food and drinks. Hire of a Bali bed or sunlounger is mandatory at the club – prices vary depending on location, and fees are deductible from food and drink purchased at the Tiki Bar on the same day. Reservations with customer services are required and are subject to availability – beds or sunloungers can be reserved for the duration of your stay. The MarClub is open from 10:00 to 19:30, June to September, subject to change.

Additional family friendly facilities include the VIDA Club (charges apply, open seasonally), where children aged 3 to 11 can enjoy supervised activities, a reading area and a game room with arcade machines. There’s even a spa area offering children’s manicures and pedicures. A nursery is also available for children from six months to two years old. 

Dining information

The resort’s main dining venue, Ocean Restaurant, serves breakfast and dinner. In the mornings, choose from a varied buffet, as well as hot eggs, omelettes and pancakes cooked to order. In the evenings, themed menus combine Portuguese flavours with international favourites. During the day, tuck into relaxed poolside eats at Sunset Terrace – ask the waiters for the chargrilled meat or fish of the day. Open for dinner, Primadonna serves Italian-inspired cuisine on an outdoor terrace. A choice of freshly baked pizzas and pasta dishes are offered – some featuring local Portuguese cheeses – as is a kids’ menu. Please note, some restaurants may not operate at the same time.  

Three bars include the chic lobby bar, a poolside bar and the Tiki Bar, serving cocktails and light bites in a Polynesian-inspired setting. There’s also a Nespresso Café serving freshly brewed coffees (open seasonally and opening schedule varies).

The half board package includes breakfast and dinner in the Ocean buffet restaurant. You may exchange a buffet dinner for a food credit towards an a la carte dinner at Primadonna Restaurant. In low occupancy periods, the half board buffet dinner may be replaced with a three-course menu in any of the designated restaurants. Drinks are not included.

Additional information

In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) you will be required to wear a face mask in all public areas. In-room tea and coffee is available on request only and bathrobes are unavailable until further notice. The indoor pool will operate at a limited capacity.

Not all restaurants and bars will be open. Those in operation will require reservations and may operate in multiple sittings to maintain distancing or provide takeaway options. Please be aware that on New Year's Eve there will be a buffet and no a la carte dining options available. In the event the Ocean Buffet Restaurant is closed for dinner, there will be a half board menu available at the à la carte restaurants. The shuttle to and from Albufeira Downtown remains unavailable until further notice.
