Spend time relaxing on the beachfront – where you’ll find sun loungers and umbrellas – or unwind around one of the six spacious swimming pools on the property. Keep in mind two of these are livelier children’s pools, but you can also retreat to the adult-only whirlpool.

The Thalasso Center & Spa, a peaceful sanctuary on the beachfront of Playa Dorada, offers an extensive menu of massage, facials and hydrotherapy treatments (for an additional charge). The qualified staff use sea water and natural elements for their revitalising properties. You can also enjoy the ‘Thousand and One Nights’ seawater circuit and listen to calming underwater music (for a supplement). Your spa experience will be enhanced by a visit to the Turkish baths and a refreshing hot beverage from the tea house. Otherwise, the Baby Club is a facility specially designed for babies who are between the ages of 4 to 36 months old. There are eight dining venues offering a selection of buffet and a la carte menus that specialise in a mixture of cuisines from around the world. Yaiza is the main buffet restaurant, specialising in international cuisine, with fabulous show-cooking and a nightly themed menu. Other seasonally open buffet restaurants include La Piazzetta, which freshly prepares pizzas and other Italian delicacies and La Hacienda, the place to go if you’re craving tasty barbeque and prime cuts grilled to perfection. There's also the seasonal Family Suite Buffet, perfect for breezy breakfasts. Please note, during high season, a second buffet restaurant may operate on a rotating schedule. In low season, a smaller alternative buffet may open instead of Yaiza.

Grown-ups can star their day at Isla de Lobos, relishing a sumptuous Canarian breakfast with stunning sea views. Meanwhile, families can find a generous delicious buffet breakfast on offer in Yaiza Restaurant. When lunchtime rolls around, head to the poolside restaurant and snack bar, La Tunera Pool. In the evenings, dine at Don Giovanni for Italian specialities or try Kampai which offers a la carte East Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki tables. If you enjoy Spanish fare, +Tapas is your go-to – this intimate venue overlooks the sparkling sea.

Enjoy refreshing drinks at Mararia Lobby Bar, home to a terrace with stunning sea views or settle in at Mencey Bar. La Papaya is a casual poolside bar and an additional snack bar awaits by the family pool. When you’re in the Capitan's Park for kids, you can order light bites at the pool bar or delicious ice creams and sweet treats at the Gelateria.

If you’re staying on a half-board basis, you’ll enjoy buffet breakfasts and dinners included, but not lunches. The main buffet restaurant is Yaiza, which features show-cooking and a different themed menu each night. During high season, a second buffet restaurant may operate on a rotating schedule. In low season, a smaller alternative buffet may open instead of Yaiza. Guests on half board also receive dining credit (amount varies by adult and child) to use at the a la carte restaurants, Isla de Lobos or Kampai. This credit is valid for food items only, not drinks, and is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
