Fly to Stuttgart direct from the UK and explore one of Germany’s most attractive, cultured cities. Regular British Airways flights to Stuttgart help create a schedule that suits you.
Stuttgart’s combination of high culture with easy living make a city break here more relaxing than most, the city priding itself on being more laid-back than its north German counterparts. Stuttgart is also a gateway for the Black Forest, whose wooded mountains begin less than an hour from the airport.
Flights from London Heathrow to Stuttgart Airport take 1 hour, 35 minutes. With many regular flights to choose from, planning a Stuttgart holiday has never been easier.
When you fly with British Airways, you can choose a departure date that suits you and you’ll enjoy a safe and comfortable journey. Stuttgart airport lies 8 miles (13 kilometres) south of the city. It is connected to central Stuttgart by the S Bahn rail line, which takes less than 30 minutes to reach the city’s central station. Public transport links within Stuttgart are excellent. The city’s network includes not just the Stadtbahn light railway system, but also an unusual rack railway designed to scale Stuttgart’s hills.
Stuttgart’s airport may be compact, but its shops and restaurants are very good. Its Top Air restaurant is one of the few airport restaurants to earn a Michelin star, while beyond security control, its Pasta and Seafood Trattoria sells good Italian cooking with runway views. Extensive duty free shopping is on offer in the departure lounge.
