The British Airways Executive Club has partnered with Nectar to make life even more rewarding. Now you can convert Nectar points into Avios and vice versa. So it couldn't be easier to collect more points, more adventures – and more stories.
Simply link your Executive Club and Nectar accounts and you’re ready to go. After that, you’re free to convert your points – starting from 400 Nectar points into 250 Avios, or 300 Avios into 400 Nectar points.
Once you’re done, redeem your points and fly away, or spend away. It’s that easy.
How you swap is up to you. You can choose to convert Nectar points into Avios or Avios into Nectar points. Either way, the choice of great rewards is yours.
You can even set up a weekly automatic conversion so that every time you reach 400 Nectar points they will be automatically turned into 250 Avios. Simply log into your account and click ‘Convert now’ to set-up automatic conversion and never miss out on Avios again.
You can collect Avios on flights, hotels, online shopping and much more. Plus, you can download the Avios reward app – the easiest way to collect and redeem more Avios.
Collecting Nectar points is as easy as doing your everyday shopping with Sainsbury’s, Argos, eBay, Esso – and many more. Check out the Nectar app for the latest bonus offers and your points will soon add up.
You can link any one Nectar account to one British Airways Executive Club account or vice versa. You can link to a friend or family members account but can only ever be linked to one account.
You can link your accounts by following the link from either BA.com or the Nectar website.
You can link one Nectar account to one Executive Club account or vice versa. You can change the accounts you have linked up to a maximum of 4 times per year.
You will receive a confirmation email after you have linked your accounts. You can also check your linked status on the Nectar website and on the Executive Club Exchange.
Once you’ve linked your accounts, you can convert points between accounts by following the link from either ba.com or the Nectar website.
You can choose to set-up auto-conversion. Every week we will convert your entire balance, in your chosen direction, up to the automatic exchange limit. Balances will be converted in increments of 400 Nectar points or 300 Avios.
If you signed up to automatically convert Avios to Nectar points before 16 February 2021, then the conversion will continue to be processed on a weekly basis, with up to 10 days delay before points are credited to the Nectar account.

You can convert up to a maximum of 50,100 Avios or 80,000 Nectar points per calendar month.

Yes you can. Just cancel your original auto-conversion, and then re-join changing the direction you wish to convert.
Yes, as long as they are within the quarterly and monthly limits as outlined above. The limits are independent of one another.
You will need to provide the date of birth and email address associated with your British Airways Executive Club account. If the date of birth and email address are missing from your account, you can update these manually by logging in to your account and going to Manage My Account.

You will see Avios debited from your British Airways Executive Club account when you request your Avios to Nectar conversion, and you will see the Nectar points credited to your account up to 10 days later. Caps/allowances will apply on the day the order is submitted.

No, you can’t use Avios in Sainsbury’s stores, unless of course you’ve converted to Nectar points.

The last four digits of the account you’re linked to will feature in the Nectar email you received when you linked. Your British Airways Executive Club number will also be displayed when logged in on the Nectar or Executive Club Exchange page.
Manual and Automatic Conversions - Points are usually converted within minutes. However, you may have received a ‘pending message’ when converting. Please keep checking your Executive Club Account or Nectar Account to see if your points have been correctly added.
If it’s been longer than 24 hours and the points are not showing, please contact us on 0344 811 0811 for Nectar and raise a missing Avios form for British Airways.
Allow 10 days for the points conversion. If it’s been longer than 10 days and the points are not showing, please contact us on 0344 811 0811 for Nectar and raise a missing Avios form for British Airways.
You can simply complete a manual conversion in the opposite direction to get your points back - so long as you’re within your monthly manual exchange limit.

If it’s your Avios that have been converted without your permission, please contact the Executive Club.
When you link your accounts, we share data from your British Airways Executive Club account with and receive data from Nectar to enable Avios to Nectar points conversion. We also share information about you, and your activities within the British Airways Executive Club and receive information about you, and your activities within the Nectar programme. This includes what you collect and spend Avios and Nectar points on, such as travel and shopping. That information will be used in accordance with the Privacy Polices of British Airways and Nectar.
The data shared between British Airways and Nectar will be used to help us tailor marketing that is relevant to you. For example, if you’ve got a trip coming up, Nectar might send you an offer for all your holiday essentials.
We’ll also share data for other uses, including when necessary to facilitate your Avios or Nectar points conversions, service your account and protect against fraud.

You can unlink your accounts at any time through the Executive Club Exchange or Nectar website and apps.
After you unlink, British Airways and Nectar will delete the personal data that has been received for marketing purposes but will retain information on your use of Avios and Nectar such as your transfers.
