A cool escape in the middle of the desert, the Oasis Pool offers a Jacuzzi and children’s area, as well as refreshments and food from the bar. The Ritz-Carlton Spa offers signature treatments in desert pavilions, as well as a fitness centre and relaxation area. Compliment your spa treatments at ‘The Rainforest,’ a hydrotherapy circuit with European and Middle Eastern influences – 16 different stations include ice igloos and finish with a relaxing heated lounger. There are also a host of Al Wadi experiences that can be arranged and paid for locally with the Al Wadi Experience Concierge team,  such as nature tours, wellness and adventure activities or a personalised itinerary can be prepared.

Children aged four and over can explore the natural landscape and culture of Ras Al Khaimah at the Ritz Kids Club. Guests aged between 7 and 15 can also join Ritz Kids Rangers, where they can participate in desert navigation, shelter making and bird identification.

Farmhouse offers meats, homegrown vegetables and fresh ingredients in a rustic-style venue with floor-to-ceiling windows. Or you can enjoy delicious baked culinary delights and light fare at Paddock Café. Moorish provides Moroccan-inspired décor and cuisine with Mediterranean twists, and Moon Bar is a romantic Arabian roof terrace, overlooking the vast desert scape and endless sand dunes. Kan Zaman offers an Arabic-inspired barbecue under the stars, in a traditional setting overlooking the desert, with live belly dancing performances (open seasonally on Saturdays). If you've chosen to stay on Half Board or Full Board you can dine around in participating restaurants and lounges for lunch or dinner.

For something extra special, look out for unique destination dining options payable locally. You can choose a private spot around the resort, book a six-course menu in Al Wadi Tower, or  enjoy a bespoke dining experience such as a sunset vintage drive, where you'll ride in a 1952 Land Rover and picnic in the dunes.
