Located in Puerto de la Cruz, on Tenerife’s quieter and traditional northern coast, Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden is the first hotel in the Canaries to become a member of the luxury hotel group, The Leading Hotels of The World. It offers a variety of luxury accommodation, combined with high-class restaurants and leisure facilities – including the award-winning Oriental Spa Garden.
The hotel is set amongst 25000 m2 of stunning gardens, filled with winding walkways and ponds with bridges. It is also located next to the botanical gardens of Puerto de la Cruz and is around one mile from Parque de la Sortija and Taoro. The nearest beach, Playa de Martiánez, is less than a mile north, and the centre of Puerto de la Cruz is even closer, at around half a mile away. Tenerife Norte Airport is 15 miles away and Tenerife South Airport is 55 miles away - around one hour by car.
The striking hotel lobby features an art installation of flying white birds, above a huge amethyst. It is also home to a jellyfish aquarium. Keep your eyes peeled as you explore the property; the hotel is home to an extensive private art collection. Classic in style with East Asian influences, accommodation features cream, gold and red colour schemes throughout. Deluxe rooms are comfortable in size and interconnecting options are available for three or more guests. Ambassador Suites have almost twice the space, a living area, a dressing area and large Italian marble bathrooms with a separate bath and shower. Balconies offer spectacular views of the ocean, Mount Teide or the spa gardens.

The award-winning Oriental Spa Garden features its own subtropical garden, stunning East Asian inspired architecture and a varied treatment menu with a collection of rituals, programs, massages, ayurvedic therapies, peels, wraps, facials, manicures and pedicures. There’s also a thermal circuit with an indoor pool, a large outdoor pool with submerged sun loungers and a waterfall, a modern fitness centre and 20 treatment rooms – including a Thai pagoda in the gardens for open-air Thai massages. If you're staying for seven days or more, you'll get three dreamy days in the thermal circuit, completely complimentary. Stay for 14 days or more, and unlimited access is all yours.
For young guests, a Mini Club is open during the school holidays, where activities include a pirate day, Olympic games, craft workshops, dancing and visit to Loro Parque.
On site, there are also floodlit tennis courts, a 5000 m2 putting green with bunker and driving range, billiards, table tennis and a large pool.

In the evenings, Il Pappagallo serves Mediterranean cuisine with views of the ocean and the hotel’s signature restaurant, The Oriental, serves a collection of international cuisine. Open at select times of the year, La Parilla provides fresh Spanish cuisine.
The half board package includes dinner at Palmera Real, Il Papagallo, The Oriental or La Parilla. You can also swap dinner for lunch. You may also swap dinner for a food credit towards dinner at Brunelli’s Steakhouse, located in the Puerto de le Cruz town centre (transport included). Drinks are not included.
