The lagoon-style freshwater pool lies at the centre of the resort with an integrated whirlpool tub and Balinese-style beds. Whitewashed buildings, tall palm trees and sun loungers surround the pool, and there’s a poolside bar that serves cocktails. Other pools around the resort complex include those at the sister hotel next door. Altogether, there’s the main Palace Ibiza Pool, an oval-shaped pool and a kids’ splash pool. Alternatively, you can relax in a hammock along the beach and order refreshments at the beachside snack bar.

Adults can retreat to the dazzling Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness for an unrivalled wellbeing experience. The spa area features special cabins for beauty treatments, a cold-water pool, a whirlpool tub and a Finnish sauna. There’s also a fabulous indoor-outdoor hydrotherapy circuit (available for a supplement charge), a Turkish massage corner, outdoor sensation showers and a relaxation zone with sun loungers. Next to the spa, you’ll find a fitness area with a fully equipped gym, a spinning room and a terrace for outdoor exercise.

The hotel provides an exciting activities programme for the entire family. You can play tennis, football, beach volleyball and mini-golf – or practise your aim with archery and darts. There’s also a games room with billiards and table tennis, and if you like exploring, you can hire a bike or book excursions with the hotel concierge for an additional fee. In the evenings, the hotel presents a range of entertainment, and you can attend shows in the theatre arena at Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa.

The resort boasts excellent facilities for children of all ages. The Mini Club entertains little ones with arts and crafts workshops, sports activities, magic shows and special themed days. Outside there’s a children’s garden and a splash pool with slides. Meanwhile, the Junior Club gives teenagers their own space and privacy with a full activities programme and an interactive zone. They can watch the latest films at the on-site cinema, play on games consoles and learn how to DJ in specialist workshops. Babysitting service is also available at the Baby Club, where certified specialists care for babies as young as six months (available on request and subject to additional charges).

The resort’s culinary offerings are bound to satisfy all appetites, but you can always head to the adjoining sister property, Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa, to access a further selection of restaurants and bars. Sa Prunera and La Sal serve extensive buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners with show cooking stations. These restaurants overlook the Ses Salines Nature Reserve, making them perfect spots to dine outdoors.

Olivera Pool Bar and the Xtra Time Sports Bar provide a range of drinks, snacks and appetisers in between meals. Three delightful a la carte restaurants provide Mexican cuisine at La Dona, Mediterranean cuisine at Portofino and Italian dishes at Il Palazzo. You can enjoy al fresco dining at each of these venues, and Portofino promises stunning sea views. You can also taste traditional Spanish tapas at First Wine (for an additional charge) or quench your thirst with a variety of premium drinks and cocktails at two lobby bars or the theatre bar.

There is a smart dress code in the a la carte restaurants. Men should wear trousers or formal shorts, and a shirt with sleeves. If you plan to dine at restaurants in the sister resort – Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa – you should make dinner reservations. All spa services also require prior reservation, and spa facilities are not available to children under the age of 16 years. Hammocks on the beach can be hired at a charge, payable locally.
