Coconut Court is a family-run hotel and their commitment to service and hospitality will be evident from the moment you arrive. You’ll find a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, full of Caribbean charm and friendly staff. For a less expensive hotel, the facilities offer great value for money. First there’s the long, scenic beachfront which is perfect for sunbathing or swimming. You’ll find plenty of sun loungers with natural shade from the coconut and almond trees and you can refresh your taste buds at the lively beach bar after sunset sojourns. From the beach, walk along the South Coast Broadwalk to Rockeley beach, admiring the scenery and stopping off at local shops or eateries along the way.

Swim safely in the beach lagoon or in the large, freshwater swimming pool and relax in the cool water whirlpool. There’s also a shallow paddling pool for smaller children. If you’re feeling active, play beach volleyball or head to the activities desk, where you can hire water sports equipment or arrange island excursions.

The hotel also boasts regular movie nights on the beach and has an on-site foreign currency exchange. There’s a handy convenience store on site so that you can purchase those last-minute gifts or a small snack at the hotel. The Complimentary Hospitality Suite is a highlight for guests who have late return flights. This service is available on request and it allows you to shower and fully prepare for your flight home, even after you’ve checked-out at 12:00.

The Deck is the main restaurant, providing an open-air dining experience with views of the white, sandy beachfront. This is where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served each day. It’s an informal affair, with an uncomplicated a la carte menu or barbecued buffet in the evenings. Expect to find local dishes and family-favourites such as pasta, grilled seafood, ribs, burgers, steak and so forth.

Jake’s has a cool and colourful Caribbean vibe. Sip rum-inspired cocktails during daily happy hours whilst listening to authentic reggae music. Bajan favourites will usually be promoted, including flying fish, macaroni pudding, buffalo chicken or plantain fritters. To truly unwind on the beach, visit Captain Charlie’s Beach Bar. This quintessential beach bar offers cocktail specials and light bites throughout the day, whether you fancy a home-made salad or a fresh sandwich after your swim. The enticing terrace is a relaxing space to savour the views and refreshments which are on offer.
