Fly to Tbilisi with British Airways and begin by exploring the historic Old Town, where restored Soviet factories, charming squares and cobblestone streets transport you back in time.
While there, visit the iconic Narikala Fortress by cable car from Rike Park. Or you can climb up from the Median Bazaar via the Betlemi Street Stairs. Whichever route you take, unforgettable views and ancient ruins await at its peak. Then stroll along the picturesque banks of the Mtkvari River and enjoy a leisurely boat cruise to soak in the scenery.
If you’re visiting during winter or autumn, take respite from cooler temperatures by visiting the Abanotubani district. It’s home to Tblisi’s natural, thermal bathhouses, where you can book a private room and unwind for a few hours.
