It must be booked in the promotional period, 21 November 2024 – 18 December 2024 with all travel completed in the travel period, 20 January 2025 – 30 June 2025.

A Qualifying Flight is a flight operated by BA or Qatar Airways booked via ba.com in any cabin to any of the destinations listed above (excluding Reward Flights or upgrades using Avios).

You must register between 21 November and 18 December 2024 before booking by following the "Register now" link provided. Registration must take place before booking in order to qualify.

A "thank you" message will be displayed to confirm that your registration has been successful.

Double Avios is awarded on the first ten Qualifying Flights that are flown post registering and booking. The order of booking does not determine the order in which Qualifying Flights are awarded.

You have ten flights to collect double Avios on. The most important thing to remember is that a return flight e.g. London to Doha and back to London is two qualifying flights.

Eligible extras you add to your trip, including pre-paid seats, bags or upgrades, will also be eligible for double Avios.

You’ll automatically be awarded double Avios 24-48 hours after the completion of each flight, up to a maximum of ten flights.

The way you collect Avios

When you book with us, you’ll collect Avios based on the price of your tickets, including extras such as cabin upgrades, pre-paid seating, and additional bags, instead of the distance you fly.

This means when you register for this offer, you’ll earn double the Avios on the total amount you spend up until midnight 18 December.

The total eligible spend on your first 10 Qualifying Flights is then multiplied according to your tier:

Terms and Conditions

1.1. This promotion is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is a British Airways (“BA”) UK Executive Club Member. Eligible participants who join the Executive Club after 21 November 2024 are eligible to register to this promotion. BA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Eligible Participants. By taking part in this promotion, Eligible Participants confirm that they accept the Terms and Conditions set out below.

2.1. Eligible Participants must register for the promotion between 21 November 2024 and 23:59 GMT 18 December 2024 (Promotional Period), at this offer page before booking and follow the "Register now" link provided. A "thank you" message will be displayed to confirm that your registration has been successful.

2.2. Registration must take place before booking in order to qualify.

2.3. Book all Qualifying Flights (see below for definitions) by 23:59 GMT 18 December 2024 and all travel to be completed between 00:00 GMT 20 January 2025 and 23:59 30 June 2025 (Travel Period).

2.4. To qualify for the bonus Avios offers, Eligible Participants must quote their Executive Club membership number at the time of booking.

2.5. This promotion cannot be used retrospectively. This promotion only applies to those who register, book and travel during the Promotion Period and Travel Period.

3.1. Double Avios on Flights 

3.1.1. Double Avios is available on up to ten Qualifying Flights.

3.1.2. Double Avios is calculated from the total spend, including extras such as cabin upgrades, pre-paid seating, and additional bags.

4.3. Booked in the promotional period, 21 November 2024 – 23:59 GMT 18 December 2024 with all travel completed in the travel period, 00:00 GMT 20 January 2025 – 23:59 GMT 30 June 2025.

4.4. A Qualifying Flight is: 

  • 4.4.1.. A flight operated by BA or Qatar Airways booked via ba.com in any cabin to any of the destinations listed above (excluding Reward Flights or upgrades using Avios).
  • 4.4.2. Any other flights operated by any other BA franchises, codeshare partners or oneworld alliance members will not qualify. 

4.5. Qualifying Flights can be booked as a one way, return or multi-trip bookings where each individual leg counts towards the maximum of ten Qualifying Flights. 

  • 4.5.1. One-way example: London-Doha with no return would be one Qualifying Flight.
  • 4.5.2. Return example: London-Doha-London would be two Qualifying Flights. 

4.6. Qualifying Flights are subject to availability and capacity control in the booking classes eligible for this promotion at the time of booking. BA does not accept any liability if Eligible Participants are unable to book a Qualifying Flight for their chosen period of travel.

5.1. Eligible Participants who complete any Qualifying Flights will be automatically awarded double Avios 24-48 hours after completion of each Qualifying Flights on a maximum of ten.

5.2. Double Avios is awarded on the first ten Qualifying Flights that are flown post registering and booking, however the order of booking does not determine the order in which Qualifying Flights are awarded.

6.1. If booking direct with BA via telephone on 0344 493 0787 or online at ba.com, payment by cheque will not be accepted. Bookings made over the telephone will carry a non-refundable £10 offline booking fee per person per ticket. Calls charged at local rate from landline. Calls from mobiles may vary. If you pay a Holiday Package using a corporate credit card billed in the UK, you will be charged a fee of 1% (up to a maximum of £20 per person, per transaction). Avios are not transferable and no cash or credit alternative will be offered. This promotion has no cash value. All Avios and Tier points are issued subject to the Executive Club membership Terms and Conditions. 

6.2. Eligible Participants who change their travel arrangements after the date of booking will not be eligible for any Avios bonus award unless their revised travel is within the qualifying travel period and still meets the Qualifying Flight and Qualifying Holiday requirements. 

6.3. All bookings under this promotion will be covered by the fare rules and conditions of the original fare. This includes any applicable refund and change fees. All refunds are subject to the fare rules for the class of ticket booked. Fare rules and conditions appear in your booking details when you access your booking on ba.com through the ‘Manage my booking’ functionality.

6.4. All Passengers are carried by BA in accordance with its General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage and its Notice and Conditions of Contract as stated on each ticket or itinerary as provided. 

6.5. BA reserves the right to cancel this promotion or amend the terms of this promotion without notice in the event of major catastrophe, war, strike, civil or military disturbance, earthquake or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar events beyond the reasonable control of BA.

6.6. Personal data will be taken where necessary from Eligible Participants but shall be limited to those details reasonably necessary for the administration of the promotion and shall be subject to BA’s Privacy Policy. This information may be shared with any third parties reasonably involved in the promotion without liability to BA or such third parties. 

6.7. BA is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party website or homepage access which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions of this promotion.

6.8. Subject to clauses 6.8.1 to 6.8.3 below, this promotion and any other non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it is governed exclusively by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales:

  • 6.8.1. If you are a resident in the United Kingdom but outside of England and Wales, then the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland (depending on your residence) also have jurisdiction; 
  • 6.8.2. If you are a resident in a member state of the European Union (EU) other than the United Kingdom, then the courts of that member state also have jurisdiction; and 
  • 6.8.3. If you are a resident of a country which is a signatory to the Rome Convention, your contract is governed in all aspects by English law, but you will have the benefit of any mandatory rules of law applicable in your country of residence.

6.9. Promotional materials form part of these terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions will prevail in the event of any conflict between these and the promotional materials.
