Fall in love with Aphrodite’s isle

Fly to Cyprus with British Airways and touchdown in Paphos, where pristine beaches stand alongside large-scale historical ruins.

Embrace Cypriot mythology with a visit to the goddess Aphrodite’s birthplace, Aphrodite’s Rock, before heading to Kato Paphos to explore the time-stamped UNESCO-listed Paphos Archaeological Park.

If you’re keen to experience ancient and modern traditions, unwind on the unspoilt shores of Finikoudes Beach, or visit traditional fishing villages like Lefkara and Kiti, then Larnaca is a must-visit. Cyprus flight FAQs

A flight from London to Cyprus takes around four hours and 35 minutes.

We fly to Paphos and Larnaca from London Heathrow and London Gatwick.

The most popular time to visit is during the spring and summer months. Book your flights for autumn or winter to enjoy mild weather and make the most of this year-round destination’s attractions and experiences but with fewer crowds.

You can make a trip to Cyprus fit any budget. Enjoy delicious and inexpensive street food, like flaounes, a Cypriot pastry, and louvi, black peas simmered in lemon, garlic and oil, to save on eating out. You can also tick off lots of historical sites and attractions for free or for a small fee, including the Paphos Archaeological Park, where you can see Paphos Castle, and the beaches of Nissi and Fig Bay.

Once you touch down at Paphos International Airport, you’re only a 15-minute taxi drive from the city centre. The airport bus service is a cheap alternative and takes around 90 minutes.

Larnaca International Airport is also only a 15-minute taxi drive from the city centre. Again, the airport bus service is cheaper and takes around 50 minutes.

You can also hire a car with British Airways if you want to see more of what Cyprus has to offer. You’ll receive great benefits, with all mandatory charges included and 24-hour customer support, plus you’ll collect Avios points on every rental.

With so much to see and do in Cyprus, a visit – or two – is a must for any traveller.

History buffs can enjoy sites like Tomb of the Kings, the iconic archaeological site, also known for its landmark House of Dionysos. Explore museums and art galleries that offer a step back in time, like Cyprus Museum and Leventis Municipal Museum, in Nicosia, the island’s capital. Then, walk among Roman ruins or swim in the waters of Aphrodite’s birthplace in the ancient city of Paphos.

Experience the island’s green side at Akama National Forest Park, where you can follow the Aphrodite and Adonis walking trails, finishing the day with a dip in the secluded Blue Lagoon. Larnaca Salt Lake is famous for its salt crystals, and here between November and March, you’ll see a flock of migratory pink flamingos.

You can book a hand baggage-only ticket or make the most of our generous baggage allowance.
