1. Join The British Airways Club and Club Avolta

Sign up to Club Avolta, World Duty Free’s loyalty programme, and The British Airways Club. You’ll need an account for each to link your accounts (they’re both free). 

Download the Club Avolta app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Link your accounts 

In the Club Avolta app:

How to redeem your Avios

1. Link your accounts

If you’ve already linked your British Airways Club and Club Avolta account, you’re ready to go. 

If you haven't, you'll need to link them as explained in the steps for collecting Avios above. 

2. Add your voucher

In the Club Avolta app: 

  • Tap ‘Account’ and select ‘Explore Partners' 
  • Select ‘The British Airways Club’ 
  • Tap ‘Add voucher’ 

3. Choose where to spend it

Select the country you want to use it in, and voucher value. The voucher will appear in your Club Avolta digital wallet within two minutes. 

You can exchange up to five vouchers a month, up to a maximum of £250/€250 per month.

To collect Avios, you must have a British Airways Club account. If you don't have an account, it's easy to join for free.

By linking your account and selecting British Airways Club as your preferred partner, you will collect 1 Avios for every £1/€1 spent in any of our participating stores in The UK (London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh) or Spain. Please check the Club Avolta App to view the participating airports and store lists. Make sure to scan your Club Avolta QR code every time you shop in-store. 

To collect Avios with Club Avolta, you need to be at least 18 years old and have an British Airways Club account. You will also have to link your British Airways Club account to your Club Avolta Membership Account and select British Airways Club as your preferred partner within the Club Avolta App. 

To Redeem Avios, your  British Airways Club account must be linked with your Club Avolta account within the Club Avolta App. Once your account is linked, locate your linked British Airways Club Account, select ‘Add Voucher’ and follow the steps thereafter to exchange your Avios for a digital Voucher to spend in-store. This Voucher will be stored in the ‘Wallet’ section of the Club Avolta App.  

You can collect Avios and redeem your Club Avolta Voucher on many products (some exclusions apply). See the British Airways Club Terms & Conditions in the Club Avolta App for a full list of stores. 

Certain products or product categories, such as Tobacco, may be excluded and you won’t be able to collect Avios or redeem your voucher for such products. For further details,  please refer to the Terms & Conditions

When purchasing eligible goods at a participating store, you need to show your Club Avolta Membership card and have your Club Avolta QR code scanned.

Customers will collect 1 Avios per £1 / €1 spent when purchasing eligible goods at participating stores. A maximum of 3,000 Avios can be collected per transaction and a maximum number of 5 eligible transactions per day and 30 per month applies.

Only one Voucher can be redeemed for a given transaction. For further details, please refer to the Terms & Conditions.

A maximum of 5 Vouchers can be issued in a given month against the redemption of Avios.

Your Avios will be awarded within 72 hours of completing your qualifying purchase. Retrospective claims are not possible. If you do not meet any of the requirements listed above, you will not collect Avios when making a purchase.

5. The Offer allows Eligible Customers the opportunity to collect Avios and convert Avios  into a Club Avolta “Voucher” to buy select products at any of the participating Club Avolta Outlets.

6. Collect Avios: To qualify for the Offer, Eligible Customers who wish to collect Avios on their purchases at participating Club Avolta outlets, must; 

i. Link their British Airways Club account to their Club Avolta account within the Club Avolta App and set their linked British Airways Club account as their preferred partner account, prior to a completing an Eligible Purchase (see ‘Eligible Goods’ below). Customers must then scan their Club Avolta QR code at the checkout in-store or complete their purchase via the online Reserve & Collect journey, to collect Avios.  

7. Only one Club Avolta account can be linked to one British Airways Club account at any given time and vice versa. The account holders name for both the British Airways Club and Club Avolta accounts must match.  

8. Please note that when linking accounts and to collect Avios, certain data related to you may be shared between Club Avolta and British Airways Club.

9. A British Airways Club account can be linked and unlinked to any Club Avolta account a maximum of 1 time in 12 months.

10. After the first time that an Eligible Customer links their British Airways Club Account to their Club Avolta account, selects British Airways Club as their preferred partner and completes a qualifying transaction (See ‘Eligible Goods’ below) at a participating store, or online via Reserve & Collect, a one-time bonus of 250 Avios will be credited to their British Airways Club account.

11. Qualifying Spend is the final price, excluding any applicable taxes, for the purchase of Eligible Goods (see below) at a Participating Club Avolta Outlet made by an Eligible Customer who has presented their Club Avolta QR Code for scanning at Participating Club Avolta Outlets, or has completed their purchase online via the Reserve & Collect service, when making such purchase.

12. The Offer will allow you to collect 1 Avios for every £1/€1 spent in any of our participating Club Avolta outlets in The UK (London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh) or Spain. A maximum of 3,000 Avios can be collected per transaction and a maximum number of 5 eligible transactions per day and 30 per month applies, i.e. any transactions in excess of such limits will not constitute a Qualifying Spend.

13. After linking their British Airways Club account, an Eligible Customer can convert their Avios earned in their British Airways Club account into a Voucher by logging into their Club Avolta App and completing the following steps: 

a. Select ‘Account’, then ‘Explore partners’

b. Select British Airways Club

c. Select ‘Add Voucher’

d. Select the country they want to use the voucher in and the voucher amount

e. Once they’ve redeemed their Avios, the voucher will appear in their Club Avolta digital wallet

14. An Eligible Customer will need to select the country in which they wish to use the Voucher. The currency that the Voucher is available in is determined by the country selected by the Club Avolta member.  

15. A Voucher can only be used at participating Club Avolta outlets in the country for which such Voucher was issued. Each country will have its own country specific terms and conditions, including the participating Club Avolta outlets in such country.  

16. Eligible Customers can only redeem Vouchers in-store, when checking out at a physical point of sale. Vouchers cannot be redeemed while reserving a product online via the Reserve and Collect service or when Eligible Customers use the self-checkout service in-store. Eligible Customers shall present the Club Avolta Voucher to one of the sales assistants at the time of check out, to benefit from the offer. 

17. Eligible Customers can use a maximum of one (1) Club Avolta Voucher per transaction. The Club Avolta Voucher will apply on the final price, including any applicable taxes. 

18. Vouchers are offered in fixed denominations in (£) GBP for use in the UK, and (€) EURO for use in Spain. Each value requires the conversion of a specified number of Avios. The required Avios amount for each voucher value is displayed in the Club Avolta App.  

19.A Voucher will be immediately credited to the Eligible Customers’ Club Avolta account when Avios are converted in the Club Avolta App.   

20. Upon conversion, Vouchers can only be awarded to the Club Avolta account that the British Airways Club account has been linked to. Once Avios have been converted to a Voucher, the conversion cannot be reversed.   

21. An Eligible Customer can convert a maximum of five (5) Club Avolta Vouchers in a 30-day period.  

22. The Club Avolta voucher can be used for the full value or partial redemption. 

23. Once a Voucher has been fully redeemed at a participating Club Avolta outlet, such Voucher is not reusable.  

24. Except as required by law, each Voucher will be valid for 24 months from the date of issuance, after which it will automatically expire and be removed from the Club Avolta wallet. 

25. Avios are not redeemable for cash.   

26. Except as required by law, Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, and cannot be sold, transferred for value, reloaded, or applied to any other Club Avolta account. The value of the Club Avolta Voucher will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.

27. In case an Eligible Customer returns a product purchased with a Voucher, the Eligible Customer will get the Voucher amount refunded in the Club Avolta App in the Wallet tab as a new Voucher. The new Voucher validity time will match the one of the original Voucher. 

28. Once Avios are converted into a Club Avolta Voucher, the Voucher will be credited to the Eligible Customer’s Club Avolta account, with both British Airways, and Club Avolta terms and conditions applying.  

29. Participating Club Avolta Outlets (store list): Participating Club Avolta Outlets are Club Avolta Shopping outlets participating in this offer. Current Participating Club Avolta Outlets are listed in the British Airways Club Partner Terms & Conditions section of the Club Avolta App. The Participating stores list can be accessed in 2 ways:  

i. British Airways Club Linked account: Customers must select the ‘Account’ tab then ‘Explore Partners’. Customers should then locate their British Airways Club linked account and select ‘About the Program’ and then ‘Terms & Conditions’ 

ii. Unlinked account: Customers must select the ‘Account’ tab then ‘Explore Partners’. Customers should then select ‘British Airways Club’ and click on the ‘Program Terms and Conditions’ visible at the bottom of the customer linking page. 

30. Eligible Goods: With the exception of (i) products listed below as non-eligible goods or (ii) products labelled in-store to be excluded or advised as excluded by an Avolta staff member from collecting and redeeming Avios, all goods sold at Participating Club Avolta outlets are eligible to collect and redeem Avios.  

i. In the UK, customers cannot collect Avios on the following products: Tobacco, Tag Heuer, The Macallan, Medical products, Tissot, Rado, Swatch.  

ii. In the UK, customers cannot redeem Avios on the following products: Tobacco, Medical products, Tag Heuer, The Macallan, Rado. 

iii. In Spain, customers cannot collect Avios on Tobacco, Medical Products Loewe, Bulgari, Press and bags 

iv. In Spain, customers cannot redeem Avios on Tobacco & Medical Products  

31. Avios Group Limited (AGL) reserves the right to remove any Avios and close any British Airways Club account that British Airways PLC, Avios Group Limited (AGL) or Avolta believes has obtained or redeemed Avios or Voucher in breach of these Terms and Conditions or in breach of the British Airways Club Terms and Conditions.

33. Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Dufry International AG reserve the right to withdraw this Offer or amend these Terms and Conditions, including Avios earn rates, without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to Eligible Customers for doing so.  

34. Avios are issued by Avios Group (AGL) Limited and are subject to acceptance and compliance with the Scheme Terms and Conditions as stated on https://www.avios.com/de-GB/terms-and-conditions 

35. When linking your accounts your personal data will be shared between British Airways PLC, Avios Group Limited (AGL) and Avolta to facilitate the transfer of Avios into Voucher(s). 

36. By taking part in this Offer, Eligible Customer’s agree to the personal data they supply being used by AGL and Dufry International AG or their agents or subcontractors for the sole purpose of administering this Offer as set out in the Avolta’s Privacy Policy, AGL’s Privacy Policy and/or British Airways Club’s Privacy Policy. AGL reserves the right to withdraw the Offer or amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to customers for doing so. 

37. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. British Airways’ failure to enforce any term of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms. 

38. Insofar as is permitted by law, neither British Airways and/or AGL (or any of their agents, affiliated companies or distributors) shall in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate an Eligible Customers or accept any liability to an Eligible Customers (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Offer whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not the Promoter (or our affiliates) have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

39. This Offer shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, but not exclusively if the Eligible Customers is a resident of the United Kingdom but outside England and Wales; then the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland (depending on the Eligible Customer’s jurisdiction) also have jurisdiction. 

40. Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in the administration of the Offer shall be subject to correction without any liability on the British Airways Club, Avios Group (AGL) Limited and Dufry International AG. 

41. Avolta, Avios Group (AGL) Limited and British Airways Club collective decision regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and we will not enter into correspondence with Eligible Customers (or their representatives) about it. 

Club Avolta x Avios Prize Draw – Promotional Terms & Conditions  

The following terms and conditions (the “Terms”) shall exclusively apply to the Club Avolta x Avios Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”) operated within the United Kingdom (“UK”) during the Prize Draw Period, unless otherwise specified in the Promotion marketing.

By participating in the Prize Draw you accept these Terms. 

1.      Who can participate?

1.1  To be eligible for the Prize Draw you must be a passenger travelling through one of the selected UK Airports (LHR, EDI, BHX, MAN) where a participating store is located, and also be:

a) a resident of the United Kingdom;

b) at least 18 years old;

c) a member of the applicable airline loyalty program and accept its Terms and Conditions.

2. Prize Draw Period

4.      How to enter

4.1  The Prize Draw is open to all Participants who have completed the following steps:

a) Downloaded the Club Avolta App on their mobile device

b) Then, selected ‘Account’ , and ‘Explore partners’, before linking their British Airways Club or Iberia Club account to their Club Avolta account; and

c) Selecting either the BAC or Iberia Club as their preferred partner.

Once these steps have been completed, the Participant must:

d) Scan their Club Avolta QR code at the checkout when making an Eligible Purchase (defined below) in a participating store at London Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester or Edinburgh Airports (this QR code can be found under the ‘Wallet’ section of the Club Avolta App); and

e) Enter the Prize Draw: An Eligible Participant can enter the prize draw by selecting ‘Manchester’, ‘London Heathrow’, ‘Edinburgh’ or ‘Birmingham’ airports in the Club Avolta App. Then, selecting ‘Rewards’, and locating the Avios prize draw offer. An Eligible Participant must then progress to the entry screen and enter their Iberia Club or BAC membership number, accept the Terms & Conditions and then enter the draw. Multiple entries by a Participant will not be accepted.

4.2  An Eligible Purchase is the purchase of any products excluding Tobacco, Tag Heuer, The Macallan, medical products, Tissot, Rado, Swatch, or any other products clearly labelled in-store as excluded.

4.3 A BAC or Iberia Club account can only be linked to one Club Avolta account at any given time and vice versa, providing the names on both accounts must fully match. 

5.      Prize Draw and Prize

5.1  There will be a total of twenty (20) winners who will each win 50,000 Avios (“Prize”).  

5.2  The Prize Draw will be conducted by Dufry International AG via a platform provided by Odicci Limited of Suite 510, Hayes 3, 11 Millington Road, Hayes, UB3 4AZ, United Kingdom, (hereinafter, “Odicci”). The winners will be selected using a random computer-generated algorithm within one (1) week of the end of the Prize Draw Period.

5.3  No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of a Prize is permitted.

5.4  Each Prize is non-transferable.

5.5  Avios are issued by Avios Group (AGL) Limited and are subject to the Avios Terms and Conditions available at https://www.avios.com/de-GB/terms-and-conditions.

5.6  Avios have no monetary value, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5.7  A maximum of one (1) prize may be awarded per participant.

6.      Notification to the Prize Winners

6.1  The Prize Draw winners will be notified, by Dufry International AG by email or mobile within fourteen (14) days of the Prize Draw being conducted.

6.2  Each winner will be credited 50,000 Avios within thirty (30) days of being notified that they are a winner. The Avios will be credited into the winner’s linked BAC or Iberia Club account. The Avios will be credited by Avios Group (AGL) Limited. If a winner’s BAC or Iberia Club account is not linked at the time of awarding the Prize, the Promoters may require the winner to relink their account within a reasonable time in order to receive the Prize.

6.3  The winners’ surname and country can be obtained by sending an email to clientservice@avolta.net within thirty (30) days after the end of the Prize Draw Period. Winners may object to their surname and country of residence being made available by notifying the Promoters at the time they are informed that they have won. The Promoters may nevertheless provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority where required.

7.      Unclaimed Prize

7.1  If a winner cannot be awarded the Prize for any reasons (including where the winner is found to be ineligible, or the Prize cannot be credited to the winner’s linked BAC or Iberia Club account), the Promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner at random using the same method described in clause 5.2. If an alternative winner cannot be awarded the Prize, the Promoters reserve the right to declare the Prize void. 

8.      Personal Data

8.1  Personal data provided by Participants will be processed by the Promoters and Odicci for the purposes of managing the Prize Draw, and, where applicable, the delivery of the Prize.

8.2  Personal data supplied will be used for the purpose of administering this Promotion by Dufry International AG in accordance with the Prize Draw Privacy Policy (available below), by Avios Group (AGL) Limited in accordance with its Privacy Policy, British Airways PLC in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and Iberia LAE SA in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

8.3  Participants may view Odicci’s Privacy Policy at https://odicci.com/privacy-policy

9.      General

9.1  The Promoters reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Terms.

9.2  The Promoters may disqualify any Participant where the Promoters have reasonable grounds to believe that the Participant has attempted to benefit, directly or indirectly, from manipulation, intentional or otherwise, the operation or mechanics of the Prize Draw.

9.3  The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Prize Draw and/or substitute the Prize with an alternative of equal value, in the event of circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond its reasonable control.

9.4  The Promoters accept no responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

9.5  These Terms and the Prize Draw are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the Participant agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

9.6  Promotional materials form part of these Terms. These Terms will prevail in the event of any conflict between these Terms and the promotional materials.

9.7  AGL and Dufry International AG are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web sites or home page access or where any reproduction of the information relating to this bonus mis-states or omits any of the information or the Terms connected with the Promotion.

9.8  AGL and Dufry International AG decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9.9  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. The Promoters’ failure to enforce any term of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms.

9.10 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoters, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a Participant, accept any liability (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising out of or in connection with any Participants’ participation in the Prize Draw whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not the Promoters or its affiliates have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Your statutory rights are not affected. Any liability of the Promoters arising in connection with the Prize Draw shall be several, and the Promoters accepts no joint and several liability in connection with the Prize Draw.
