Malaysia Airlines has become part of the oneworld® alliance with effect from Friday 1 February 2013. This increases the alliance’s full range of services and benefits and expands the oneworld network throughout the Far East.
The airline, which won the World's 5 Star airline and the World's best cabin staff awards in 2012, flies to over 100 destinations worldwide.
If you're a member of the Executive Club, there will soon be yet another oneworld airline that you can collect Avios on.
British Airways are delighted to introduce online deposit payment for customers booking their Flight+Hotel or Flight+Car holiday through ba.com. Currently, customers have to pay the whole balance in order to secure their Flight+Hotel or Flight+Car holiday but with this new facility they will be able to pay a deposit from as little as £150 per booking when they book and the remaining balance ten weeks before departure.
Customers can take advantage of many benefits that this new functionality gives including the ability to book now for a family Flight+Hotel or Flight+Car holiday next year and only pay a deposit thus being assured that they know the value of their next Flight+Hotel or Flight+Car holiday and have the opportunity to save for the balance. For a special occasion like a honeymoon or luxury Flight+Hotel or Flight+Car holiday, customers can again take advantage of this facility and book with a deposit and then have the time to save for the remainder closer to departure.

British Airways has today announced a new codeshare agreement with WestJet. The new agreement is available for sale on three of WestJet's routes across their extensive network:
The first date of travel for the new codeshare flights is 24 September 2012, and the routes can be sold as a connection with British Airways flights from the UK to Canada.
WestJet is the second largest carrier in Canada, operating from its main hubs of Calgary and Toronto, offering a single class service on over 70 routes across North America.
If you are an Executive Club Member you'll soon be able to collect Avios when you fly on a British Airways codeshare flight on the WestJet network.
The British Airways Galleries Club lounges have been announced the winner of the World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge. This prestigious accolade was based around the customer, the product and the service quality offered in the lounges at London Heathrow Terminal 5.

British Airways flights have also relocated to operate from Gates B50-B58, meaning shorter walking distances from check-in to security and through to the lounge and departure gates.
The lounge is open to Club World and First customers and Silver and Gold Executive Club members flying out of Newark airport.
