Pushchairs in Terminal 1
If you have a small, fully-collapsible pushchair under 5kg, you'll be able to take this right to the aircraft door. If your pushchair is large, or weighs more than 5kg, please check this is at the check-in desk.
Fast Track Boarding is available for:
• all customers travelling in Club World and Club Europe
• customers with a fully flexible UK Domestic ticket (Business UK)
• BA Executive Club Gold and Silver members
• oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members
Photographic identity check at Heathrow Terminal 1
If you are departing from Heathrow Terminal 1 to a UK destination you will have your photograph taken when you present your boarding pass at security. Your photograph will be validated at the gate, prior to boarding your flight. The photographs are deleted within 24 hours, in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
The British Airways International Lounge
The lounge is located at Gate 5, and is open to the following customers travelling on international flights operated by British Airways (excluding Dublin):
The lounge is open daily from 05:00 until 22:30.
The British Airways UK and Ireland Lounge
The lounge is located next to Gate 8, and is open to the following customers travelling on domestic flights within the UK and to Dublin:
The lounge is open daily from 05:00 until 22:30.
Arrivals Lounge
The Terminal 1 arrivals lounge is no longer available. Eligible customers are invited to use the Terminal 5 arrivals lounge instead. The lounge is open from 05:00 until 14:00 for the following customers:

Eating at Terminal 1
Make the most of your time in the terminal, with a choice of fantastic restaurants.
If you are arriving into Terminal 1, the quickest way into London is on the Heathrow Express train service. Trains leave every 15 minutes from Heathrow Central to Paddington station, and the journey takes 15 minutes. Heathrow Central is walking distance from Terminal 1. Paddington station has good connections to the other London railway stations and all parts of London via the London Underground (the tube).

Heathrow is on the Piccadilly underground line, which takes passengers into central London in around 50 minutes.

The National Express coach service takes passengers to central London and other towns and cities throughout the UK. Coaches depart from Heathrow Central, which is walking distance from Terminal 1.

Pushchairs in Terminal 1
If you have a small, fully-collapsible pushchair under 5kg, you'll be able to collect your pushchair at the aircraft door. If your pushchair is large, or weighs more than 5kg, you'll be able to collect your pushchair in the Arrivals hall.
