Our Chefs

British Airways are proud to work alongside some of the world's finest chefs and to feature some of their signature dishes on board, these are created at innovation workshops with our catering suppliers at London and around the world. Restaurant dishes are adapted to work inflight and to complement our selection of fine wines in First and Club World.

Our menu's in all cabins have been refreshed for the summer season and feature signature dishes from Michel Roux OBE of the famous Waterside Inn at Bray, Shaun Hill of The Walnut Tree in Abergaveny, Vineet Bhatia of Rasoi in Sloane Square and Liam Tomlin, currently based in Cape Town.

We have introduced a new selection of British classic dishes on our menus which are honest and unpretentious in style and prepared using traditional recipes. We pride ourselves in the provenance of our ingredients, which are locally sourced wherever possible. Some tasty examples are listed below:

The British cheese board in First, with a new selection of British cheeses, accompanied by Lincolnshire Plum Loaf, a traditional Myer’s family recipe dating back to 1901. We have enhanced the classic full English breakfast with Gloucester Old Spot Bacon and Cumberland sausage. In Club World, Michel Roux’s seared fillet steak with cherry tomato sauce should whet appetites and an old favorite - shepherds pie with cheesy potato top made with British minced lamb, fragrant herbs and roasted carrots is the ultimate in comfort eating. For those with a sweet tooth our a traditional English trifle with fresh raspberries and redcurrants is a classic treat for World Traveller customers.
