The three pistes on Qstrebets host various winter sports events including World Cup competitions in Alpine skiing. Its biathlon track is one of the best in Europe.

Families

Borovets is compact and easy to get around. The Borovets ski and snowboard school is particularly good for children. Hotels here have been chosen for their variety of facilities, which will keep kids occupied when off the slopes.

High altitude

Lifts in Borovets climb to over 2500 metres, increasing the chance of high quality snow. There are also 14 snow cannons on the pistes of Borovets to further ensure snow during the ski season.

Après ski

The two main, car free, walkways are bustling with cafés and bars. Here you will find both international cuisine and local dishes. Eating out is extremely good value and less than half the price of a resort in the Alps. Bargains can also be found in the local shops and market style stalls.
