Browsers
The Browsers that British Airways currently support are:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and above (excluding test or 'BETA' versions)
- Mozilla Firefox 1 and above
If you are using a test or 'BETA' version of a browser and encounter problems, please report this to the company that supports the browser so that they may incorporate changes into any subsequent or live versions of the browser.
Screen resolutions
Our site is designed for optimal use at resolutions between 800x600 to 1280x1024.
Accessibility
We are committed to making our site accessible to everyone, including blind or partially sighted customers who use screen readers.
Browsealoud service on ba.com
- ba.com is accessible using Browsealoud which is a free tool that speech enables website content.
- It offers a practical website access service to people with reading difficulties and those who find it easier to listen to, rather than read the content of our website.
- The tool is available from the Browsealoud website.
Speed of the website
We recognise that a fast site is important to you and we endeavour to make the site speed acceptable globally.
You should be aware that a number of factors can impact the speed of response, many of which will be outside our control. They include your connection speed, the performance of your Internet Service Provider, or even just the amount of traffic on the Internet at the time.
Cookies

Whilst plugins and helpers are not required for key functions on our site, we do assume that the majority of customers have:
