If you're busy sightseeing, you might just want to pick up a salad or sandwich from a small takeaway restaurant for lunch. Chicago's Near North is the best place for a relaxed dinner of grilled steak, or try Chinatown for dumplings and noodles. At weekends, relax with Chicago-style hot dogs or pizza.

Chicago's Pilsen district is the best place for Mexican food, while Little Italy and Greektown have the best European restaurants and bars. You can order a Chicago-style hot dog heaped with mustard and vegetables at Wrigley Field baseball stadium in Wrigleyville.
