Purchasing Avios points

If you don't have enough Avios points for your chosen reward* flight or upgrade, then purchasing Avios points is a simple option. It's also a quick way to just top-up your Executive Club Avios balance. You can even purchase Avios points as a gift for another Executive Club member.

Purchasing Avios points for yourself

• Purchase up to a maximum of 24,000 Avios points in any calendar year.
• Avios points can only be purchased online and in multiples of 1,000.
• Purchased Avios points are non-refundable.
• In most cases your Avios points will appear on your account immediately, for you to spend straightaway. There are some instances, however, where this could take up to five working days and you cannot use your Avios points until you have seen them added to your account.

Purchasing Avios points for someone else

• Purchase a maximum of 24,000 Avios points for any other Executive Club member, in any calendar year as a gift.
• Avios points can only be purchased online and in multiples of 1,000.
• You will need to know the recipient’s full name, email address and Executive Club membership number.
• Purchased Avios points are non-refundable.
