The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the United States has introduced a new data process to improve the travel experience for all airline passengers, including anyone who has been misidentified by security screenings in the past.
Called Secure Flight, it means that you and your colleagues are required to provide British Airways with minimum Secure Flight Passenger Data (SFPD) when booking, and at least 72 hours before you fly. The data simply includes: your name as it appears on your passport, date of birth, gender and a Redress Number if US Homeland Security has issued you one.
Please provide your SFPD 72 hours before flying to, from or within the US, using Manage My Booking
You and your colleagues will now be able to change the date and time of your On Business redemption booking more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the first flight in the Reward itinerary.
Simply visit the ba.com homepage and go to the ‘Manage My Booking’ section. When you are in your booking, click on the ‘change button’ and you will be able to change your booking if there is redemption availability.
If there is no availability, please call the On Business call centre to make alternative arrangements.
Please note, you will not be able to make name or route changes online. Furthermore, if you’ve previously changed your booking, you will not be able to change the booking again online. So please contact the On Business call centre instead.
You cannot change your booking less than 24 hours before departure. However, if you contact the On Business call centre prior to the scheduled departure of the first flight in the Reward itinerary, you will be eligible for a refund of the taxes, subject to an administration fee.
Finally, if you need to cancel a booking, please call the On Business call centre as you will not be able to do this online.
