Seating policy.

Everyone can choose a seat FREE of charge at check-in,
from 24 hours before departure.

You can also choose your seat as soon as you've made your booking.

Use our guide to find out if it's free for you or if there's a charge.

UK Domestic

You cannot pay to choose your seat if:

you are travelling on a flight operated by BA CityFlyer, a British Airways franchisee, codeshare or alliance airline partner.
your booking has not been ticketed, e.g. if you're travelling on a cruise or packaged holiday and have not yet received confirmation of your ticket numbers from your agent.
