Madrid-Barajas Airport is located 12 km (8 miles) northeast of central Madrid.
Metro Line number 8 serves Madrid Barajas airport, running between the Nuevos Ministerios station in Madrid city centre and all terminals at the airport.
Taxis are available outside the Arrivals area of each terminals. The journey time to and from central Madrid is 25 to 35 minutes, but it can take much longer at peak times.
