British Airways has initiated a two-year project for improving the health and education of migrant workers' children in Beijing through its "Change for Good" programme in association with UNICEF (the United Nations Children's Fund).
To kick off the project, the airline recently arranged for Fudge the Dog, the programme's mascot, to pay a courtesy visit to a select community centre for the children of migrant workers in Beijing.
With 25 per cent of the profits from the sale of Fudge onboard British Airways flights donated to the Change for Good programme, Fudge hopes to bring a smile not only to the passengers who buy him on board, but also to the millions of underprivileged children around the world.
