Under the sea
Between the Everglades wilderness in the west and the fish and coral formations of the barrier reef to the east are the waters of Key Largo, one of Florida’s most beautiful destinations.
Key Largo’s history of marine conservation dates back to 1960, when the first undersea reserve was created. Since then, the fragile underwater ecosystem has been protected from spear fishing and coral collection. The resulting underwater paradise is home to some of the most beautiful fish around, making Key Largo great for underwater photography.
